Looking to get Irusk2 to run a Legion of Steel list, however I have never cared for the large flag he is holding. I would love to see what you guys have come up with for conversions.

Well, I am still thinking about how to best convert Irusk2...
But I am also thinking of what can be done with Vlad1 to make him look a bit more modern. I want to add a touch of speed and MAT/RAT fixing to my Winter Guard Kommand theme, and he seems to be a perfect fit for a Spriggan, 3 Berserkers in his battlegroup, 2 max units of Rifle Corps with Rocketeers and Sorscha0 with a Berserker (for when she comes out), along with the rest of the army.
Sorscha0 will be able to apply Pathfinder and even more speed to a few jacks that go launching up the board... I just still can't get around how tragic Vlad1 looks.
So please, show me some Vlad1 conversions!
I have my own idea of using Vlad3's upper body with Vlad1's weapons and cape, and Vlad2's legs I might try out, but that is just an idea for now.

I've seen Vlad1 in the pose from the old Forces book; main sword down, pointing with the dagger. I've also seen a fencing pose one, with the main sword pointing directly forwards and the dagger tucked behind like a main gauche. I don't know how they went about either conversion. I've never seen an Irusk one.
Vlad2's legs aren't level; they're made to fit on that specific base. I suppose it's no bad thing to have a more interesting base, though.

The best part is that you're probably at 50% PP bits with vlad2's shoulder pads alone, great conversion too!

raghnath,
That looks awesome. Much less derpy than either of the Vlad1 sculpts! Thank you for sharing that.

I don't mind if the legs are uneven, there is always something that can be done to change up the base, here is what I did with my Skarre2 using an extra Beast-09 leg, so I can always have some extra bit of Cryx junk for Vlad to stand on and even further tie my two armies together as "opposing forces". All I want is to make a Vlad1 I am not ashamed or embarrassed of, because next to the rest of my army of newer, more detailed models... The Vlad1 alternate sculpt I have is just trash. Even the old Battle Mechaniks make Vlad1 look dumb.

Love it, where did you find such a miniature? I think i ordered it from waylandgames a few year ago. Unfortunatly I can‘t find it anymore. probably not in stock anymore. Game System was „Helldorado“ and Miniature Name was „Gilles de Rais“ If you google it you can find some pics, but I couldnˋt find a store. But it was easy with the spare head from Vlad3 and the pauldrons I ordered from PPstore (Vlad2‘s) Main reason for conversion was that Vlad was my least favourite warcaster because of the model, so I never played him before I did this. So, thanks a lot for the compliments. Edit: Found some (3) on amazon.com, but seems to be out of stock everywhere else.

I spent a bit flipping through pages of hellsorado miniatures after i made that comment. Grabbed the last one off ebay. I had the exact same complaint about vlad1, really did not like the model and could never justify playing him.
