Now that all the team spots have been locked in for the 2017 edition of the WTC, the Committee is seeking volunteers to be part of our Warmachine and Hordes referee team. We are looking for a broad range of nationalities to be on the team. We are also looking for people who have a good grasp of the rules and preferably have experience being in a similar role at larger events.
We are seeking 7 members for the WTC itself and need 1 member to run the Solo Masters.
As part of the effort, volunteers will have their room and board paid for. Please email us at committee@wmh-wtc.com to let us know of your interest and a bit about your background. Thanks very much.

What are the benefits other than a room? Wages, paid time off, holidays, health care, other perks?
The days of PGs ahh I mean 'volunteers' has passed.

The days of PGs ahh I mean 'volunteers' has passed. /s I went to the WTC as a Ref two years ago when it was held in Ireland, I think I got maybe about 120 PG points for the 2 days? Which translates to around 120 dollars. I spent more than 500 dollars JUST to get there all the way from Tijuana, Mexico. There will always be people willing to volunteer for the sake of the community, plus the WTC is not a For-Profit corporation based in the USA, so I'm pretty certain they can ask for all the volunteers they want (and am glad not all people have been consumed by cynicism like the poster above ) I for one would love to go again but my time is already booked.

Yeah, this is a very cool opportunity...You get to travel and spend time with a bunch of great people and all you have to do is help out. Room and board is plenty if you think about it you are getting a substantial value in that alone. I wish I had experience in that area that's for sure. Anyway hopefully you get some great people that apply!
