Hey guys, I picked up Cryx back in mk2 and am now returning to mk3. My playgroup consists of only warmachine players atm (no hordes). I was wondering how I should expand my force going forward. We are starting at 50pt lists then progressing to standard 75. I currently have
Denny 1 Mort 1 Gaspy 3 Kraken Slayer Crab jack (magnetic arms for each configuration) Nightwretch x2 Defiler Deathripper x2 Withershadow Aiakos Darragh Pistol Wraith x2 Skarlock thrall Warwitch siren Satyxis raider captain Satyxis blood witches unit plus us Satyxis raider unit plus ua
Thanks for your help.

You probably want to choose a theme and build toward that. What you have is closest to Black Industries (the jack theme) or Scourge of the Broken Coast (the Satyxis theme). I'd say pick whatever theme has the models you like most.

NephMakes is correct, the best way to go forward is to pick from our 6 themes what best fits what you have, and that is Black Industries the Scourge of the Broken Coast.
Asphyxious the Hellbringer (Gaspy 3) is a very popular choice for black industries as he runs warjacks very well and is a good all round caster. He wants probably 1 arc node, runs the kraken very well by speeding it up and giving it unyielding with his field marshal.
Denny 1 can run anything pretty well and she would go especially well with satyxis as a fast aggressive strikeforce with her debuffs allowing the satyxis to annihilate your opponents warjacks and do feedback damage to the caster while you are at it, until you are ready for assassination. The kraken or leviathan work well here for a warjack and denny wants at least 2 arc nodes for debuff casting.
Currently our best theme is probably dark host with the bane warriors/knights and riders with a wraith engine or two. But buying into that would be costly as those are not cheap units or pieces. I would see how what you have performs for you first and then branch out from there, but it looks like you have a good pairing already.
So to answer your question, if you want to fill out Black Industries, the only unit you have that you can currently use is the withershadow combine. You may want to look into drudges or cephilyx Overlords. The drudges are a cheap unit for body blocking and the overlords have some utility and are nice infantry removal.
If you want to go satyxis, you may want to look at the new solos that are being released, Severa and Axiara. The gun slingers are not bad either.

Thanks for your comments.
I think I will round of my scourge force first. Picking up the new solos and adding a unit of gunslingers. As far as dark host, do most players stick with knights or go with thralls/riders?
The wraith engine looks sweet but so does skarre 3 slaughter fleet.

The bane warriors are probably the better purchase as they are the heavy hitters and their unit attachment allows for some attrition play.
Having said that, you are wise to focus your purchases for now on specific themes unless you have a lot more disposable income and hobby time than I have. Skarre 3 slaughter fleet does look pretty awesome, and it shares a lot of the solos with Scourge of the Broken Coast so you could double dip there. Skarre also likes a lot of your warjack selections as she loves the kraken and most other crab jacks with guns.
In my opinion, order of importance purchases for scourge of the broken coast would be:
Satyxis blood priestess (allows a free upkeep, gives your caster sucker, has some nice other abilities with her sword you probably will only use in a corner case).
Axiara Wraithblade (super solo with tactical abilities and battle plans for living troops)
Severa Black Tide (super solo gun slinger with a sweet chain attack that kills infantry as long as you can hit a target 3 times without killing it)
Gun slingers (goes with severa, they are okay on their own, she makes them better)
Another consideration would be Black Ogrun Ironmongers, especially if you are considering Skarre 3. They are a 3 man unit that repairs, have dismantle (extra dice of damage against warjacks) and make great sucker targets because they are hard to kill. They can also just follow around the kraken and repair it all day.
Misery Cages are also a new release that is like the protectorate of menoth wrack. Is an immobile thing that collects corpse tokens and allows your warcaster to pull one off as a focus for the round. Its also considered a solo and can contest or control a flag if the scenario has them close enough to your starting zone.

Ragman, severa, Gorman, or another satyxis captain could fill those last few points. A misery cage could also be good for Denny1

Note that Asphyxious 3 is also not half bad in Scourge of the Broken Coast. Satyxis Raiders are extremely annoying to remove with Ashen Veil, Calamity can help out the relatively weak attacks you have and you can still follow up with a modest battle group, perhaps a Kraken.

Picked up a great auction on eBay which includes
Denny2 Denny3 Shade3 Scaverous
4 bonejacks 2 crab jacks Nightmare Helljack (can't make out which one - black primed)
2 units of bane thralls with us 1 unit of bane riders 1 unit of mechanithralls with 3 brute thralls
Necrosurgeon with stitch thralls Bloat thrall overseer Skarlock thrall Warwitch siren Pistol Wraith
Also came with a random retribution battlegroup, books, and templates. I'll probably eBay what I don't want.
All this for $159 with shipping.
Might toss together a dark host list but still missing the wraith engine.

A wraith engine probably isn't "necessary" for a dark host list, it was just always a nice fit because it counts toward free points and adds a really hard to remove buff piece into the mix. More banes is always a good alternative for those lists. The only must have for the list is probably Bane Lord Tartarus.
Looks like you also have a good makings for an infernal machine army with the mechanithralls, skarlock, bloat thrall overseer and necrosurgeon.
What weapons are on the helljack, just claws? Does it have chains hanging off or just some shoulder spikes? How is its size comparatively to other helljacks? Trying to determine if its a slayer (super common) or a seether or something like the Deathjack.
