Can Skorne run double gargs well?
For years I've been toying with the idea, but never actually put it on the table. It was only recently, in an attempt to make a Rasheth brick, that I'd come up with something interesting in that regard:
Rasheth Agonizer Krea Hydra Mammoth
Bloodrunners Handlers (min)
It would probably run better with two mammoths (that barrage of shooting under feat and Blood Mark seems potent), but I've only got the one Mammoth in my collection.
It's slow, predictable and skewy, and might trip on terrain, but with Ret running double (or triple!) colossals these days, and Trolls having done double gargs for years, maybe there's something to it.
Is there an optimal choice for double gargs in Skorne? Naaresh on feat? Hexeris2 with Black Spot? Xerxis1 for Defender's Ward, or Xerxis2 to compensate for the lack of Gladiator? How can it be done competitively?

The idea is nice, but I'm not sure if it would work in practice. The reason you run multi-garg is so that the enemy has to focus fire on 1 or risk getting double overed by the other. I think I'd run the list with Xekaar first, keeping him far enough back to not get killed from the lack of units. It will give you a few more points for a few more bodies and psycho-surgery would force the enemy to come down HARD on the hydra or stay the "f" out of its way.

I think you'd better go with double mammoth too. In my experience from cygnar, control elements (or a feat akin to Xekaar's or Naaresh) and high armor, coupled with solid range, are what makes those lists playable.
