So, Anamag has the shiny new character beast Golab, who is quite frankly awesome. However, in Primal Terrors, the Blightbringer is HIGHLY recommended, if not required. How would you get both into a list while still having room enough for the Ogrun you need?
On a somewhat unrelated note, how do we feel about Golab + Rotwings? Rotwings are so fast that I feel like you HAVE to use them as chaff, but their kit screams that they should be death on wings (sitting vulture, golab's vet leader, finisher). I want to use them offensively, but the rest of the army will be so slow in comparison I'm not sure how to pull it off.

Chosen look like they jam well and will likely plink some damage.

What is "the ogrun you need"? You can do 40 points of ogrun for 2 free hellmouths, add a bb, and still have room for lots of other stuff.

I genuinely don't think Golab is best played with Anamag in Primal Terrors. Since he's available to everyone in PT, I'd play him with someone who can give him a damage boost and/or who really enjoys access to Lightning Strike. pThags comes to mind, but also Bethayne and Fyanna.

I'm thinking Abby 1 as she keeps BB alive and Sprint paired with refuge is nasty on a ps 17, speed 7, flying caster with grevious wounds.

Sprint and refuge shouldn't stack because they're both end of activation movement effects and you only ever get one of those. Similar to sprint and reposition not stacking.

That's true, but you can get Angelius number 1 to Refuge, have Abby go kill something and sprint, while putting refuge on Angelius number 2. Then have Golab go kill something and sprint away, then have Anglius number 2 go Refugue. Abby is only 7.5" away from what she attacked. The rest 9" away if Playing with God is on Golab (A good choice). I'm not sure its a great list, but it looks fun. conflictchamber.com/#ca201b_-0-aJaPaPkKcocob9b9kPb8csb8csfTfTLegion Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Primal Terrors !!! Your army contains a pre-release entry. (Absylonia 1) Absylonia, Terror of Everblight [+31] - Angelius [17] - Angelius [17] - Golab [17] Spell Martyr [1] Spell Martyr [1] The Forsaken [4] The Forsaken [4] Warmonger War Chief [5] Blighted Ogrun Warspears (max) [15] - Warspear Chieftan [5] Blighted Ogrun Warspears (max) [15] - Warspear Chieftan [5] Hellmouth [0(6)] Hellmouth [0(6)] Could do the same kind of thing with a Carnivan and a Ravagore instead on the Angelius.

unless i need the BFS my beast lists are all in PT. the +2" deployment just seems more valuable to me than apparition and upkeeps. Yes loosing free forsaken is sad. but Hellmouths (even when paid for) are worth it.

You are probably right, so that means the best beast theme list is an infantry theme. Sigh...

Not like we have good options
Our infantry theme, CotD, requires beasts for free models and gives bonuses to beasts Our wanna-be beast theme gives bonuses to infantry units and our caster Our fast infantry theme doesn't let use take but a fraction of both beasts and infantry Our heavy infantry theme gives us access to all of our beast and a generic deploy zone extension that we can actually make use of

Is the +2 deployment realy worth it? If its the only party of the theme you are using wouldnt it make more sense to just go out of theme? I would rather have deathstalkers than the deployment buff

I would rather have deathstalkers than the deployment buff If I'm only running beasts then there is no reason to run out of theme. That's the point. I just get 2" deployment buff for no commitment. If I wanted to run deathsatlkers or something like that then I would just play out of them like I usually do.

Its sad how frustrating list building can be for legion :/
