Going first is huge for this list but, if you don't get it because it has so much good shooting you can hang back a bit and gun your way through the army so long as you don't give up too much on the scenario.
Skarath is a great target for Grave Wind and takes a flank with Dhalia. Rorsh and Brine will take the other flank. Gives me good reach across the table, and those beasts can charge in / back towards the centre to get into S&P range. The battle group takes the centre of the table, and the Nyss are pretty flexible as to where you want to apply them.
I love the Efaarit scouts so much in this, getting them for free and hitting every target I want because of S&P is fantastic (not to mention the DMG roles under S&P make them more consistently in the 7-10 range.
Beyond that when you need to get into melee the spitters with Rage + S&P get work done as well. I just can't say enough good things about this list, I love playing it.
That said, I'd be curious what others think and or what suggestions you might have with regards to a pair. This list feels like it can go into a lot of stuff, so not sure what to pair with it.
First post here, I wanted to share the current version of my Jaga-Jaga list I've arrived at. The design motivation for this list is
- Good into both infantry spam, and armour
- I want to play 2 free efaarit scouts
- Try to ignore the feat in design, Signs and Portents is basically a feat every turn
So here is where I'm at currently.
