I'm currently working on an Aikos2, gaspy2 pairing currently. Aikos is pretty much set and I'm happy with his list. But now I'm moving into greener pastures (a sickly soul coloured green) how do you build gaspy2? My first attempt looks like this
The idea is the heavies and clouds block Los to gaspy2. And I can bring the bane warriors back with the feat to charge and apply darkshroud for the knights to come charging in. Tatersauce is there to fix their mat against targets like circle heavies, and I can use him against lights. The hellslinger is to remove enemy infantry.

You don't really need that many Banes just for the feat, but you can leave them in if you like them. I would try to get at least one unit of Satyxis in, since they can at least hit the broad side of a barn without needing any help. I really like Gorman with him, because he's both an extra cloud and a MAT fixer, he can also clear some infantry if you really need it.
If you're using the heavies only as body blockers, I wouldn't bother, the clouds are usually enough if you place them right. Putting a Stalker or 2 in is also a good way to keep your opponent honest, they can jump in to kill some support models or threaten a headbutt + feat from quite a while away.
The last list I played with him is the following:

It's the same as was featured on Chasing the Dragonfather and I like it. Like I said, the Stalkers are to threaten, the Satyxis are for independent volume of attacks, double min Bane Warriors to be more versatile in applying Dark Shroud or to follow up on the Satyxis. Gunslingers are generally just for clearing things or when you really want more clouds (you will have to shoot a high value target).
I consider this the core of the list and would probably build it from there:
(Asphyxious 2) Lich Lord Asphyxious [+28] - Cankerworm [9] - Deathripper [6] - Stalker [8] Gorman di Wulfe, Rogue Alchemist [4] Bane Warriors (min) [10] Bane Warriors (min) [10] Satyxis Gunslingers [7]
Raider Captains are also a good idea as MAT fixers and general annoyances, especially if you're also bringing Satyxis.
Based off that, I would consider dropping a Deathripper and a heavy from your list, probably both heavies, to add in a Stalker, Gorman and min Bane Warriors. Then drop the Hellslinger Phantom for Gunslingers. They will serve a similar purpose, but tie more into the cloud theme.

Out of curiosity, what is your Aiakos2 list trying to do? What weaknesses are you trying to shore up with the Asphyxious2 list?

With the amount of Stranglehold and white squall I can throw out it makes it a difficult game for my opponent. The current list I have also has 40 dudes. I'm basically looking for asphyxious 2 to protect me from some shooting. As well as make it harder for the opponent to assassinate me with Hellbound. Has most of my recent games with me being assassinated. And as much as I'm hoping gaspy2 will work I am kind of thinking I might have to go with Denny or agathia to cover my bases. satyxis raiders with agatia area great for jamming enemy shooters at turn 2-3. Immune to blast dmg means they won't be removed from table by few cannons 16 def means average grunt with rifle hits them on 10+ ghostly helps to ignore free strikes diving into enemy's frontline her feat helps to cover big pricy jacks from mediocore shooting. and helps to get into fight. For example, Inflictors can jam shooting heavies at 12(run) + 3(feat) + 2(reach) = 17 range It might be worth to go Bane Warriors when our Battle Engine get and update, but now they'll just die to POW 10 blast damage for clouds take satyxis gunslingers + min McTralls with 3 brutes - tou get 3-6 clouds and 3 shieldguards for 19 points
