Mine is going to be Garyyth or Thyron. I've run those two at their worst and I always look at how a new unit/model can interact with them. The upside, I'm pretty good with both, the downside, I know fully well there is a more fulfilling and supportive relationship out there if I would just break up with them and not get hung up on what they are doing when I'm not with them.

Mine might be G4, I love the idea of him and I've been waiting for him to come to Ret for years but I know he's just not very good. Ravyn is the one that got away; I love her fluff and model and her first stat card but I haven't touched her in years because she's just unfocused and can't do the things she wants to do.

I second Hubert on Ravyn. Also, oddly enough, Kaelyssa. Every time I try her out she gets assassinated, which is my fault of course, but I just can't seem to get her.

Uh, all of 'em, 'cos I don't play anywhere near enough?!
Seriously though... Ravyn... even in Mk2 and WotNV, I just couldn't seem to get on with her. G4 to an extent, and Garryth as well, mostly because I can never really twig how to leverage his feat right.

My biggest hope for our CID is that Ravyn gets a full tear down and rebuild like Kraye or Abby1 did. Her fluff and stat card have never matched up well with her spell list and they really need to just decide if she's a super solo hero of the Retribution and give her spells to support it or if she's a backline support caster and give her abilities to support that. This whole "she buffs range and plays a minor LOS game but MAYBE she'll go ham and kill some stuff without immediately dying if you're super lucky" thing just doesn't work.
But I don't want to derail, so I'll stop there.

I must say, my anticipation for a new Ravyn is sprinkled with a pinch of anxiety. Hopefully she becomes the caster she should be.
