Skull Island Expedition's closed down? News to me...
(Admittedly, I haven't really read anything from them, so don't know their current status...)

They are running the full history in NQ Prime now, and fitting in some of the newer stuff as well. Maybe that's the way they plan to get it to people?

Skull island Expeditions has now been absorbed into the PP Store. It hasn't gone anywhere - the books are still available, just being published through the main store rather than an offshoot that doesn't have much PP branding. store.privateerpress.com/books-magazines/skull-island-expeditionsThere's the link. I'd recommend the Malcontents books. Both have been fantastic so far. In terms of reading in order, Blood of Kings brings in the end of MK2, ushering in the MK3 fluff, from there it's on to Acts of War, Godless, and I believe Black Crowns.

I’ve read through about 3 of the books now. In both Godless and one with Shae, the author kept swapping the jack names and sometimes character names, and it became kinda confusing. Something like...
“The Repenter burst forward to burn the unbelievers, and as the Repenter unleashed Menoth’s Fury, the masses dispersed. Fiora gave her Redeemer the energy to give chase and hunt down as many as it could...”
And you’re sitting there thinking “Where’d that Redeemer come from?”
In the Colbie v Kayazy book it was a little less, but the final fight was just unbelievably stupid. After spending 80% of the book showing what an awesome fighting force the Kayazy were, both 1 on 1 and especially in groups (Gang), this ragtag small group of heroes who previously had their asses handed to them made short work of the entire clan and their leaders... on Kayazy turf!
So I’ve about given up on reading the books.
