Hello all!
I just wanted to know if any of you used minions troops in Call of the Wild? Perhaps to screen the warbeast or/and hold zones? If so, what do you use?

Wrongeye and Snapjaw for Star Crossed is a great choice. I did find issues with SR 2017 though.

It honestly depend on the caster. There are some universal good choices though:
Farrow valkaries: Shield Guard nuff said. They protect your caster or key beasts, solos from bad guns.
Swamp Gobber bellows crew: Most of our casters like the cloud protection. Concealment brings almost all of them to Def 16+ at range. They are also cheap!
Feralghiest: Cheap point filler. Contests zones and hilariously threatens grymlin swarms with its magical claw. (Not super reliable but it can help you sometimes)
Ogrun Bokor: Hits pretty hard, And is a shield guard (hey I’m rhyming dog) good contesting piece as well.
Gobber Chef: Cheap 1 Point potion. I have had him win me games with a random backstab charge on a solo a couple times. He has killed: MoW Forge Seer, Cryx bone jack, And A farrow valkarie for me. He also killed a shifting stone once. He also gives cute synergy with Sentry Stones as he can feed Manikins to beasts to remove fury! Stick soup!
Grymlin swarm: Obnoxios contesting piece. Love it because it stalls scenario. Can randomly win you games just by contesting zones.
Ellish Garrity: Puppet Master And Spell denial makes him versatile. You typically won’t regret him.

What about units like Gatormen Possee or Farrow Brigands/Commandos?

Wouldn't recommend Posse outside of minions. Brigands I haven't tried in CotW but they're decent in Bones with Wurmwood.
Personally big recommendations for the Spirit Cauldron with Kromac2. Being Fury 10 is pretty good.

What about units like Gatormen Possee or Farrow Brigands/Commandos? agree with maplewhisky on this one. Possy is never a good option and I only see use for brigands with wurmwood or Mohsar, and I am not sure its worth it in Call of the wild, unless you really really need a contesting unit. Croc pot is also a good choice but more specific. Puppet Master, The Boostable "Not Gallows" Spell, and the corpse mechanic are all excellent abilities.

I used brigands in my Kromac2 list with good success. I found having bodies and weight of attacks to be very helpful in general. I think it broadens his match-up tools.
For Kromac2, the minions have to function independently. A small 2 man support unit or Nyss might work.

The issue there is, you are eating into beast points, and Brigands are not hard to remove, they are also slower than your army. I’m not saying never use them, but I personally find them to not be worth it over a support unit

Farrow valkyries are the best shield guards in the entire game (barring warlocks/themes that turn things into shield guards) so they're always a good choice. They're also our only option for shield guards in CotW since we don't get wold wights.
Nyss hunters are also a nice, flexible unit to have.

He is, but he's a single shield guard for 5 points, whereas valks get you 3 for 8 (and they do more damage, have vengeance, etc). I find only having a single guard can be played around easily. The only time I'd go bokur in CotW is if I was playing tanith and could bring Loki along with me.
