Khador currently has 20 casters and Old Witch 2 has been out for a little bit slowing for some of her pairings.
But with 20 casters there are 190 unique pairings we can do. I want to do one that hasn't been done before for a tournament at my college in a few weeks.
Last time I did this was in September with Butcher 2 and Zerkova 2. I went 2-2 going 1-1 with each caster.
So what pairings do you think have never been done before (at least in mk3) ?

I imagine they all have by now! That said, I can quite cheerfully imagine that no-one commonly runs any combination of Butchers. Too much overlap.
I doubt Karchev-Hark sees a lot of play for the same reasons, nor double Irusk.
Basically any combination involving two warcasters with a similar style of play.
I remember seeing double Zerkova in a tournament report, and V2&3 in another. They were interesting pairings

I don't see a lot of Scorscha 2 lists anywhere.
Malakov 2 seems to be on the low popularity side as well.
I didn't play Mk1 and only collected the models for proxy hammer models in MK2 so I'm not sure if they were released near and people just paired the new toys.
But for a MK3 pairing I'd say those two haven't been together in a list.

And Sorscha 2 is one of the oldest casters, I believe Apotheosis(2004, mk1). Back then, Beheomth was the only Character Jack and was just getting released as well. AS for if they have been paired together, I don't know. It does seem a possible one as Malakov has had very few people pushing for his use. Calling him Irusk lite at times. This could be a pairing I do.

Andrei 1 & 2?
Seriously though, I feel like I don't hear much about Koslov? Maybe him and Andrei 2?

That's a good shout; they're both somewhat ignored. Kozlov is actually solid, and he's perhaps one rule away from being great. Whenever he crops up in discussion people seem to decide that his weakness is 'he's boring'. The only other casters I've heard it applied to have been Vlad1 and Hark, so there's clearly no link between 'boring' and 'bad'! But Kozlov is my caster of the moment, and he's working pretty well. If his feat gave free charges I would use him all the time.
I had a good run with Andrei as well, but he can only help a limited number of targets. He needs one more spell; Last Stand should have been his, but Sacrificial Lamb would also be good with him.
I don't see a whole lot of OW1 around, possibly because she's an infantry mulcher in a warnoun world. Shame, as I've really enjoyed the times I've played her.
Interestingly, all three there tend to lean towards more mixed lists, which is not what the current era of thememachine favours. I wonder if that has any bearing on popularity?

My friend is on a England WTC team and he has run zerk1 and 2 for the past year or so. Zerk1 as an all comers list and 2 as a cryx / flimsy caster drop. The assassination potential of zerk2 is outrages (well for khador anyway).

When I played a Champions tournament at Gencon I noticed that many of the Khador players brought Koslov. The S6 ADR casters were Koslov, Strakhov2, Zerkova1 and Irusk2. I think I saw Koslov in LoS and JotW and he seemed pretty competitive.

Every time I look at him in a Jaws list I kind of wonder why I'm not playing Butcher and end up playing Butcher instead. I know Kozlov brings some unique things to the table, but it feels like he's missing "something" that always stops me from reaching for him. Not quite sure what that "something" is though.

When I play him in Jaws I'd rather have Butcher. When I play him in Legion of Steel I'd rather have Irusk.

Zerk1 in LoS with double max IFP, double min Uhlans, 2 kovniks, markhov ect ect. The idea is to hide behind clouds, feat turn 2 or 3, take board control and win on scenario or attrition. I think with him playing it for so long and being a WTC calibre player gives him an advantage.

I play him out of theme at the moment. I'm slowly forming the opinion that malakov1 is his best friend (SPD 8 jack with full focus and free charges and +2STR is disgusting), and since I don't want to play WGK with him, I don't really have any other option.

I bet no one plays B3/S2 anymore.

I actually played B3/S2 in two tournaments last year and even won one. S2 was supposed to be the only way to play against pre-nerf Una2.
To be fair I stopped thinking about pairings in terms of casters, but rather what 2 themes you take.
