Mattmcd, how do you feel about threaded discussions? Do you think they help separate out the conversations that are of interest to people from those that are upsetting to them?
In particular, do you think it's useful information to know that PP is cancelling pre-orders for the HHH now that it's become even more obvious that it's price is not a new normal, or in any way a regular thing for PP? Do you think that people who have cancelled their orders are signalling pretty strongly that they think it's overpriced?

I really do expect them to reduce the price before they dispatch and then refund everyone who paid the original price. I have no doubt in my mind that Skarre3 would have cost $160ish if there hadn't been such a bad reaction and PP is aware that if they don't drop the price before for the preorders then they can't fairly ever drop them. I have to think we'll hear about a drop to 130 or 125 in the next 2 weeks.

I'm much in agreement with you, the HHH price was atrocious. I'd love to see PP handle the situation in this way, but that doesn't seem to be their modus operandi. Here's hoping that you guys are correct.

Uggh, At least the HHH, looks good. That Skarre model looks terrible. Way to static for such a large model. The floaty green souls could have easily be the Prime Axiom's rock turd for all the good they're doing.

Yeah, it's the parts. But that was THEIR poor decision, not ours. When you design something for consumers, you design to a price point. Otherwise you end up with the Juicero. I could see it going a bit above the usual price point, but double is obscene. Just talked to PP customer support, they agreed to allow me to cancel the order. Oh, I agree completely with this. It was a poor decision to begin with. I hate the entire BAHI line of thinking.

Here is the response I received: Note this took them about a day to respond, so they might have had to run things up channels. Or they could just be busy. I am happy with the outcome, this is good customer service from PP.

So how is the driver controlling the HHH?... it looks like he is supposed to be holding reigns connected to the bears but I see non on the model itself...

So how is the driver controlling the HHH?... it looks like he is supposed to be holding reigns connected to the bears but I see non on the model itself... You've posted this exact statement something like 6 times now. Nobody has the model in hand, and we're all looking at the same picture. You'll figure it out in due time, whether that means it comes with reigns, or you'll have to model it yourself. Clearly it's important to you.

It doesn't make sense to mold something that small and thin out of plastic. Just add some twine when you get the model.

Has anyone else gotten their Hooch Hauler? Mine came in the mail a couple of weeks ago and I have say, that barrel is solid and heavy. I hate to say it but I am pretty sure it was priced appropriately for its parts, size and weight. Like someone else said, bad design if they are forced to charge that much, but it is awesome. It also required a lot of cleaning of parts. But everything seemed to fit together really well. Overall, I was really pleased with the product.

I have to say, that after I got mine, I still do not see why it costs twice as much as war wagon and much more than seaking. I see how it costs, because regular large blister is full of parts and there is 1 trollkin and 4,5 pygs of wagon and all of them are in 2-4 peaces. What I do not see is could it be 99% as cool as now but only 80% cost if some parts were left out. (for example could those small beer taps between wheels be modeled to base is stead of 2 separate metal peaces.) But I agree, that metal parts were quite good and not much mold lines, but resin parts have quite much injection points and some of them are in really nasty places. And I already broke one of drivers seats holding tap on cleaning.
