After a long hiatus from the game, I decided to jump back in after the Christmas CID dropped. I quite enjoyed masses of infantry in MK2 (as much as masses of jacks actually) and have been wanting to bring them back into MK3. Exemplars + Vindictus didn't really scratch the itch mostly due to the less impressive and more restrictive theme force for them.
So that's when I came up with the below skew and wanted to share in the conversation. Well, I finally got a game in with it and it did amazingly well! The level of attrition and scenario pressure was ridiculous. The assassination threat is ever present as well due to the dual Reckoners and more focus than you can shake a stick at.
This was my first time ever fielding Deliverers and they certainly delivered. They were reliably able to put pressure on just about anything on the table while remaining relatively safe themselves. (Important note: All models in the CRA must Aim if they are to get the +2 on ranged attacks.) They appear to be able to deal with just about any infantry threat thanks to their impressive AoE and high damage from their CRA. Not to mention they still pose a threat to higher arm targets with a large enough CRA. Biggest downside to them is not generally being able to control zones due to their poor defensive stats and slow speed.
The RAT bump to Zealots have put them in a very good spot. With constant revives and the threat of mini-feats, it was very very hard for my opponent to keep them down. They were pitted against Idrians, Nyss, and jacks. So admittedly, pretty ideal targets, but still they performed excellently. The UA was very hard for him to remove and only pulled it off with a lucky RFP spell. Their plan was very much quantity and not quality. Eventually a bomb would deviate or roll high enough to hit and inflict serious damage. They missed most of their bombs and killed quite a few of themselves in the process though. They kept Warding up most of the game to avoid a few nasty spells.
Also you may notice the lack of Choir. I needed the points for moar dudes and with the theme benefit, I found that the Choir buff really wasn't needed to keep the jacks performing at solid levels. Something near them was always dying keeping them angry and strong.
Testament's Feat allows you to charge your jacks through your infantry and also move your infantry deeper into enemy lines or to pull back out of melee thanks to Incorporeal. It can also help get around terrain which might be limiting you.

I'd like to try out this basic list with a few other casters like; Feora3, Sevy1, High Reclaimer 1, Vindictus, Kreoss1, Malekus. Until then, what do y'all think? Have you had similar experiences? How have you been using Deliverers and Zealots?
