Hey guys,
I often see people talking about taking Rupert to give Errants Tough. This makes a lot of sense, but I was wondering how it interacts with the Knights Errants natural Self-Sac?
Do the Knights Errant get to:
tough, and then if failed self sac
or is it self sac and then the sacrificed model can tough?
or is it that the two do not work together at all and I have to pick which to use?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,

The order is disabled, boxed, destroyed. Both Tough and Self Sac trigger on disabled. However the wording on Self Sac is '..choose a non-disabled model to be destroyed', because the other model goes straight to 'destroyed' it would not get a tough check. Therefore you would choose to resolve tough first, and if that failed then destroy the other model. That way you get to make 1 tough check.
I don't play Menoth so I hope this is right

I don't play Menoth so I hope this is right It is. in addition to tough, there's martyrdom also in faction, which works in a similar way, as well as the vessel of judgement. Since each ability re-checks for disabled after one resolves, you more or less pick one to use, make tough, then use the other when it fails (i don't make tough. ever.)

As above.
You basically have to have Tough, or Martyrdom, resolve first. Then you can use Self Sac. You cannot however tough the damage caused by Self Sac.
