Having just downloaded Primal to make sure I do Fury right (i.e. not running two wrastlers and both lessers hot and leaving casters full) I went past the page that talks about falling damage, and realised it was a rule I hadn't even thought about since I first read the rules when I was getting into the game.
I've never had a model affected by falling damage. I've had models knocked down, but never has one been knocked off a hill (or anything else).
Thinking back, the only other rule we never used was the structure health system, which from memory had a number of boxes depending on width and height?!
Anywho, any odd rules you never see used in game?

Wall height, because everyone plays walls as .75" for ease.

I pretty much ignore LoS rules, and let my beasts move their full SPD through terrain. Does that count?

If they would just let you use WJ points on jack marshalled jacks, you'd see them a lot more often. There's actually some neat shit you can do now, but the real issue is points: you have this dump of warjack points that can only be used in BG, so if you want the marshal benefits, then you have to buy the marshal and the additional jack. Gets expensive in a hurry. It is occasionally still worth it (see thor + avalancher), but only occasionally. That said, if you could use WJ points on marshalled jacks, i can think of lots and lots of things i'd use and do that currently i can't / won't because it makes no economical sense point wise. Still remains the rule they really, really, really want to work but just misses the mark. I think they came closer in MK3 than ever before though.

The one that doesn't get used a lot or at all in my community is the burning earth terrain feature. Also the bit where you can make any other terrain feature a burning earth as well. Like that forest. It's a burning forest now. Or that house. It's a burning house now. Screw you ghostly. Might as well make the fences next to the house on fire too. Ah yes those trenches. Trenches are flammable. Light the Firetruckers up. So is shallow water for that matter. It's on fire now. And what's that ? Is that a dense fog. IT'S A FIRE DENSE FOG NOW. My friends always look at me weird when i do any of the above.

@nuxy actually you can't. Pdf rules page 81. Acid bath is a shallow water type terrain feature blah blah blah. Says nothing about applying it to other terrain features. I guess you can house rule it. The burning earth says that it's a 3" diameter feature or can be applied to other terrain feature. It's a rule i never see anyone mentioning ever and i kind of wish it was more popular. You can light your acid bath on fire if you want though

I actually read a lot of batreps that use burning forests... It's kind of lame to use it on everything, though.

These are all really good. No Burning Earth/Dense Fog at our venue [I personally made a bunch of acid pools). Jack Marshals? Only Cygnar Gun Mage CA, so far. Falling damage? I remember one scenario in 10 years.
And a strange one, I don't remember any games I've personally been in involved in, in which a Colossal or Garantuan ever did the Power Attack:Power Strike. Is that a common experience?

Is that a common experience? I'll be honest, the third colossal card that has the power strike changes never gets referenced. I feel that if a colossal is engaging a model they are simply going to kill it. They don't care about throwing or slamming. It's killing time. But then again, I'm very used to the conquest, so I might be biased
