While NQP #1 was all about the Trenchers, apparently #2 is going to be about the Northkin Trolls.

I got mine a few days ago and its very much like NQP 1, it does get into all the crunch bits of the Northkin and is pretty much laid out the same. Other stuff in the book are some fluff stories starring Kreoss, another with Goreshade, and another with Caine.
There is a company of Iron campaign that has a story of everblight vs protectorate.
12 factions of Christmas overview.
Some painting tips.
The history of Fellig (the cygnaran/ordic city)
And the new unbound stuff. I actually liked it because it gave some guidelines for multiplayer and team games.

Yes, but in the Llaelese theme

No vengers, mostly Kreoss beating down doom reavers with some exemplars. Then a story with the new exemplar errant solo vs the new everblight solo Cralyx? It was the series of COI scenarios.

Can anyone elaborate on this "Unbound?" I'm curious...

Basically you make 3 50 point lists per team (or however many lists you want, 50 pts each). If you are player one, you activate one entire list called a detachment, then your opponent activates one of his, and back and forth until all detachments have been activated. That is the round. There are special rules for things lasting a round vs a turn which I am forgetting. Its also easy to do multiplayer with this because each person just controls a detachment. Some of the scenarios they had for this looked fun. I particularly liked the floodlands one where you have 5 hills on the board. Every round you roll a dice, if you roll correctly, all non-hill terrain becomes shallow water for the round.
