More successful is an upset I'd welcome. Yeah, that's why I think it's a local maxima, but that there are other builds out there that will perform better, with the hypothetical "optimal build(s)" somewhere in the aether. This one succeeds in doing what I was attempting to do ("...use the Blightbringer to construct a balanced list featuring a midline caster"), and any adjustments I make to create a more competition-level list will probably change the build enough that it will look and function completely differently once the dust settles. I like this build, and I'll tinker with it, but ultimately I think there are inefficiencies that when removed will lead to a better holistic state.

Does Flank(friendly faction lesser warbeast) on the beast mistress stack with Flank(friendly faction warbeast) from the feat? If so that would be a +4 to attack rolls and 5d6 on the charge.

Pretty sure the name of that effect is "Flank" and the parenthetical is just a qualifier for what grants it, so it will not stack.

Ended up running this list, this past weekend. Ended up working out but I think it was partially because of what it was paired against. Brisbane, storm wall, 2 defenders, full unit of lances, strange ways. On most put.
Ended the defenders never got engaged, managed to take out stormwall bottom turn 3, carni. Managed to keep the storm lances tied up for 2 turns, bad dice for the lances. Managed to get a caster kill with melded bethayne. Walk up and smash.
My biggest issue was I did not get an opportunity to pop feat. My opponent managed to shoot all my infantry off the table before they could take advantage of it. Did get some game changing hex bolts off though

I defiantly agree. Unfortunately I wasn't able to deliver them to where they needed to be. And by the time I was able to pull off an assassination BB, and my Neph. Where roughly 3" out. I wasn't expecting my opponent to move how he did.
