we got really confused. I gather it would NOT trigger on injured (since the model is not destroyed). Is that correct? (and thus doomreavers are REALLY pretty sad in this format)

If a model’s casualty roll results in it becoming injured, it is considered to have been destroyed for triggering special rules that grant attacks and movement.

So if I understand this rule (and then the wording on the card) the zerking unit would make an attack against ANOTHER model in their melee range. If they destroy or injure they could come back to model #1 and kill it. Then they could come back to model #2 (if that one was injured as well) and kill IT. Any "COI Tough" would stop the chain.

You just keep chopping.

Yeah, I don't think you can re-attack the same model with berserk without hitting another one first - otherwise berserk just completely nullifies the Injured roll (because your next attack auto-hits AND auto-boxes on any damage).
Then again, models with two weapons do that already, so maybe it's fine? I'd ask on the rules forum, since Berserk was originally written for a case where the first target by definition is no longer an option.

Berserk does absolutely nullify the Injured roll, for the record. You don't need to target a new model.
The very first game of Company of Iron Privateer Press streamed was a Cephalyx vs Minions game where Maximus was pretty happy just chopping away.

Berserk does in fact work that way and that's an excellent point about models with multiple attacks. More than 1 attack is very powerful.

That goes EXACTLY against the wording on Berserk which says "target a different model". I don't see how it is legal.

Seriously, ask on the rules forum. It's not inconceivable that they played it wrong in the video, forgetting the exact text of Berserk. It's also conceivable that they want it to work the way they played it, and need to update the rules addendum. Either way, no-one here is going to have an official answer except the appeal-to-youtube.

Although, it does say "make one additional melee attack against another model in its melee range." Hmmm...it does seem to be up for interpretation. Asking on the rules forum is probably the right answer to clarify the wording.

I thought that was obviously meant to be humourous, since one of those guys is the game's designer. Next time I'll explicitly tag it with <not_serious>.

The updated addendum now includes modified text for Berserk; you definitely can auto-kill a model you just injured.
