Hi folks!
So I've just got into Minions and have a journeyman league coming up. I'm planning on trying out some of the water effect stuff you sometimes see on bases for all the amphibious models I'll be using, and thought I'd come here for some pointers.
First, can anyone recommend a good brand? I'm based (ha!) in the UK, so local brands would be appreciated if possible.
2nd, any tips on applying it?
c) Recommended colours for the base underneath..?
Cheers, Dave
P.S. Played my first game with Minions, using Midas and the new CiD stuff. Was hellafun!

I'm using Vallejo water effects. Works great. I usually mix with a few drops of Army Painter Green Ink to get a really swampy feeling Many thin layers usually 4-5 layers is optimal

I use envirotex lite, it’s a two part epoxy. Really easy to use and can be dyed with inks. I’ve ised it on terrain and bases galore and can pour big thicker pieces easily 1/4” deep in one pour np. Just tap out the bubbles.
It’s also cheap and easily found at craft stores etc
