So I've been playing a version of the Zoo (all the lessers in one list) for the last 3 or so years and my god has WWFF got me excited. I managed to get in two games yesterday 1 with Dr Ark and Rorsh and Dahlia and another with Rask and the full Zoo. Ark went into the faithful masses with billions of infantry and Testament and using the feat as a fury management tool I managed to clear out masses of infantry (something that Ark has traditionally struggled with in my experience). I lost due to not recognising the danger inherent in giving Testament 20 odd souls with which to nuke Ark. Rask went to the new thieving Skorne theme (taking our beasts ) and even with lamentation, man did the beasts do some serious work. Basically took out his entire battle group and because all of the lessers effectively manage their own fury, barely had to worry about frenzy checks! Any other experiences with the new theme? I'm tempted to run Sturm and Drang next with razor boars as being able to run them all up the field should really alleviate the fury problems.

I got one game with the theme led by Sturm & Drang featuring all the lessers and 4 razor boars into Kaya1. Had I been a bit more sensible about protecting Sturm from the Kaya1 spell assassination threat (not to mention stupid circle theme giving them cheaper animi) then it would have been very much in favour of the minions. So many things to keep track of though.

Lessers with rage, ghostly and signs and portents (jaga) are looking sweet. Rask is pretty nuts with them too.

Still think Rask is King with the lessers. He can crank damage, extend threat range, grant Pathfinder, increase efficiency and protect them on delivery with feat. Jaga-Jaga is great too, but Rask is the full package. Boundless Charge and Fury really put it over the top. Anyone that can use a Wrastler can gran Rage, but Fury+Rage is stupid on any of our lessers' warbeasts.

I'm playing Stum&Drang with double Vaults in WWFF, so far it's going quite well

I've recently been looking at adding a battle boar to Rorsh to be able to put out primal as required with Rask because I've been finding that while Rage is great, a lot of the time, once I get onto their caster, I really want that +2 MAT more, especially since I can pump STR with Fury anyway. I'll hold off on Jaga-Jaga for now, and then see what comes out of CID, all the lessers with Signs and Portents and Overtake seems pretty strong though! Side note - I'm not sure why but I always seem to fluff up the Counter Charge option with Lug, I either forget he has it, or box him in so he can't use it

So I ran WWFF in a 75 pt tourney yesterday;
War Room Army
Minions - Rask
Theme: Will Work For Food 3 / 3 Free Cards 74 / 75 Army
Armory - Steamroller Objective
Rask - WB: +27 - Blackhide Wrastler - PC: 16 (Battlegroup Points Used: 16) - Swamp Horror - PC: 14 (Battlegroup Points Used: 11)
Rorsh - Rorsh & Brine: 15 - Brine Brun Cragback - Cragback & Lug: 16 - Lug Wrong Eye - Wrong Eye & Snapjaw: 17 - Snapjaw Thrullg - PC: 0 Thrullg - PC: 0 Eilish Garrity, the Occultist - PC: 5 Gremlin Swarm - PC: 3 Gremlin Swarm - PC: 3 Feralgeist - PC: 2 Lanyssa Ryssyl, Nyss Sorceress - PC: 4 Hutchuk, Ogrun Bounty Hunter - PC: 0 Swamp Gobber River Raider - 3 Raiders: 4
Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew - Leader & 1 Grunt: 2
THEME: Will Work For Food ---
GENERATED : 10/08/2017 12:53:07 BUILD ID : 2050.17-09-10
I won 1st place. WWFF is very solid.
My 1st opponent was Denegra 1 with a kraken and the Stockpile objective. Won via control points. The thrullgs working in conjunction with the Gremlin Swarms wrecked havoc of my opponents plans. Getting to go first placed my beasts all in solid control or striking positions.
My second opponent was running Menoth with two vessels of judgement, a very baleful thing to my Gremlin Swarms, who died early, consumed by magic damage rolls. In the end neither of us could assasinate each other, I however via the +2 SPD turn was able to be up 1 CP ON THE DICE DOWN call.
My final opponent, another Menoth opponent, but there were lots of tasty troops. In one ROUND between, Lug, Brine and my swamp horror I eliminated 20+ TROOP MODELS. My thrullgs just put a stop to his plans to rush the center rectangle, while working in conjuction 1 Gremlin Swarm. My feat prevented any form of Center push counter attack. He conceded as he had no was to prevent me from winning via control points at the end of his 3Rd turn.
