Free Vorkesh leads to the weird situation where a min unit of Cetrati costs 2.4 points per model, while a max unit costs ~2.57. But when you think about it, 5 models (min + free Vorkesh) for 12p is really good, even if they're no longer as durable as in Mk2.
In general I am having a bit of trouble with building the theme for anyone other than Makeda2. I'm sure there's a good Karax spam in there, with Zaal1 oder Zaadesh2, but I'm not painting ~60 Karax. But not getting the Turtle, Shaman, Raider or Drake really hurts with building more diverse lists in this theme.
Catkeda is slowly but steadily getting countered, so I'm not sure it's that great anymore. I'll still try it, but it's a good idea to keep an open mind towards replacements for her.

I think as great as the anamanterax is, the benefits of MoW really do outweigh it's exclusion. My plan is to have my main list be MoW with either Makeda1, Xerxis1, or Zaadesh2, and have the other list be a double SA IWH under, I dunno, Hexy2, or Zaadesh2 if he isn't in my MoW, or double SA WoD Rasheth. Hopefully the CID change to the mistspeaker will make it through, and IWH can have eyeless sight SA in IWH. I'd use brigands in IWH too, at least experiment with it seriously.

I'm pretty excited by morghoul3 in MoW as I think the guy has potential. I am about to run cetratii, double Swordsmen and legends, that happen to be precisely 60 points. Morghoul should be able to deliver enough Swordsmen to win fights, neutering most infantry units that are dangerous to them.
As far as makeda2 is concerned I've played enough of her to be pretty confident that an additional cetratii unit is better than karaxes: steady+tough is essential to makeda gameplan as it will make you stay death 33% less, and they're durable enough to be a problem to remove in the late game as opponents need quality to kill them that is often lacking in the models that survive till the end of the game (i.e. most support models and casters). They also do considerable work with weapon master.

Now that themes no longer deny advance deployment, the aradii heavies might be something to reconsider for a steady screen.
I have an issue with Cetrati offense. They can't shield wall and charge. It's not pleasant as an interaction.

your opponent played pretty poorly, but using gargantuans properly is really something only Trollblood is known for. You should tell him to move the idrians to the side of the board where they can pick off rhadiem from a safe distance instead of using them for melee engagement and as jamming models, they become extremely powerful with prey. He should have used the garg to whittle down the boxes of all your boxed models instead of focused fire, and also push him up the board more boldly. With your army, only Rhadiem and maybe snapjaw could have seriously threatened it in one turn. After your models are low on boxes, he could easily pick them off with smaller combined attacks from the idrians. The ballistas are good at hitting, but if that garg is the judicator, he can do the AoE job himself. It would be more beneficial to collect up the points for a mechanic or two to keep the garg valid. Since you didn't have a lot of FF he also could have played the other two light jacks more aggressive in order to bait rhadeim out of hiding... Take out Rhadeim and so many strategies for taking out the garg and caster go bust. oh, our meta tends to spend like an hour or two discussing matches once they've finished. There is generally only 2 rounds of games played a night and we get feed back from world tourny level players.
