So far I have been running IWH pretty much exclusively with Zaadesh2 but I've been wondering if Xerxis2 would be a better choice? Has anyone been running IWH with Xerxis2 and if so what kind of results have you been getting?

I do both, but differently. Zaadesh 2 is my Titan Herd list, 5 Titans, 2 Cyclops, 2 Aggies and 1 Krea. So far I've only practiced deployment, but already I can tell it feels like driving a steam roller down a hill.
Xerxis 2 brings the Desert Hydra and Tiberion, 2 razorworms! and free Aggie. Zaadesh is in the list for Rush-bot (Titan Gladiator), and to hold the free Krea. 2 min units of Beast Handlers are in both lists.
I still am play-testing the initial lists, and both feel list filled to the brim, almost too much to handle, but in a good way. With only 2 min beast handlers, both casters have additional help with fury management, x2 having Zaadesh and Z2 having the Bronzeback. Even so, with the X2 I feel like I can play the trade game more freely. I was at first worried that 2 Razor Worms would be too expensive and I'd be better off just taking one Worm and one Cyclops Savage for Future sight, but taking the 2 leaves me able to save one for spiny growth for the late game on X2, and the other can harass while my pieces get into position. -I do have to pair the X2 list with an out of theme X2 lists to stay balanced, since theme suffers greatly from spells and spell-hate. My out of theme list takes Despoiler, Aptimus Marketh, and Orin Midwinter to help with this, and takes Rhinodon instead of the Razor Worms since the beast loadout wants to do something different than the theme: crit. A Cyclops Savage and Shaman help in utility and Ferox (plus Rhadeim) fit nicely with the mounted warcaster. So Rhinodon and Despoiler and Ferox with Ignite all get help from the Willbreaker, Cyclops Savage, and feat. Only 1 max unit of Beasthandlers in this list, but I still have trampled over 2 at the start of the game to get souls on Marketh to start the free fury train and assist in Upkeep swapping Ignite.
Hope this helps.

Pre theme I was running X2 that would have qualified for theme. Similar to the above post. Hydra and Tibbs, Rhinodon, Krea and Zaadesh1 with Gladiator, min handlers. It was terrifyingly fast but it couldn't survive in Scenario. You also have zero room for error with so few models. I still want to try something like it, I've just never seen one I really like. X2 has a couple of mechanical problems that are just a touch annoying. At 28 warbeast points he can't take 2 max units of handlers or 2 min units and a solo if he wants all 3 free beasts. We've got a lack of point options at several levels that could be useful but alas, making points work just so is quite difficult. Honestly I'd be deliriously happy if the theme allowed feralgeists. I'm not saying it's a bad theme, it's just frustrating and difficult to optimize.

So I've run 4 games
Theme: Imperial Warhost 3 / 3 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army
Xerxis, Fury of Halaak - WB: +28 - Rhinodon - PC: 12 (Battlegroup Points Used: 12) - Tiberion - PC: 22 (Battlegroup Points Used: 16) - Archidon - PC: 10 - Titan Gladiator - PC: 15 - Basilisk Drake - PC: 8 - Basilisk Krea - PC: 0 - Agonizer - PC: 0 - Agonizer - PC: 0 - Cyclops Shaman - PC: 8 - Cyclops Shaman - PC: 8 - Basilisk Drake - PC: 8
Paingiver Beast Handlers - Leader & 3 Grunts: 5 Paingiver Beast Handlers - Leader & 5 Grunts: 7
THEME: Imperial Warhost
And its performance has exceeded my expectations. Its got lots of Magic guns, infantry clearance. Rhinodon starts the piece trade effectively with a 14' alpha under rapport.
I've also played the list dropping tibers and the rhino for a BB and Sentry but I like the extra threat on both and the BB can sometime get itself out of control from countercharge.
Double aggie is brilliant
