Or, given the established trend for a certain aggrieved party to immediately escalate a social media campaign in response to perceived injustice, sensible to keep their heads down. "They haven't said anything so they must be hiding something" is *precisely* what this transparency line is designed to push as its leading narrative. ^This.

Nope, Enos stoped answering questions since people advised him against it. But he mentioned that he thinks that Jarle is lying or witholding information.
Jarle is still very upset and doesn't want to come to the WTC anymore.

Doesn't seem like there is much more to say or do. The WTC will presumably stick with a wall of silence, and I can't see any outside investigators being interested in digging deeper to expose the private circumstances to the public. It would take a certain ruthlessness to ignore the WTC's insistence that they want to protect those involved and try to get someone to talk. And no matter how upset some people might be, I don't think anyone really wishes to actively hurt someone else, even in the name of The Truth.

The WTC committee has been taking a lot of flak for a "wall of silence" or trying to "protect" someone, but I don't think that is really fair. The WTC's charter states that the WTC committee is there to manage the organization of the tournament, and says nothing about the committee being a place to appeal judge calls to if you don't like what the head judge said. Maybe they just don't see it as their place and don't want to take on the role of being a place to appeal judge calls to, which is probably fair. Seems to me like even if it was a bad call, people should just move on -- referees make bad calls on the time, even in professional sports leagues with millions of fans, billions of dollars in revenue, and serious prizes on the line. Even if it was a bad call, it's a good idea to just move on rather than dwell on it like people have been doing.

I believe that would have happened if it was admitted straight up. Not saying it was, just saying I believe it would have been accepted. We still don't know the reason for the appeal which is kinda amazing after all the words typed over this... this opaque posture was the catalyst for this WTC affair.

Got to agree with Jisidro here... if it was a bad call just assume it and move on with it.
The whole barrier of silence hurts more than it does good.
This being said this will blow over...

The WTC committee has been taking a lot of flak for a "wall of silence" or trying to "protect" someone, but I don't think that is really fair. No flak from my side for sure. I think a wall of silence to protect the survivors is probably the best move, since I trust the WTC to determine what the best move is.
