Thinking something like this as my 1st list:
Naaresh1 (Master Ascetic Naaresh) -32
- Battle Boar 7
- Battle Boar 7
- Cyclops Savage 7
- Cyclops Brute 8
- Cyclops Brute 8
- Cyclops Shaman 8
- Archidon 10
- Rhinodon 12
Paingiver Beast Handlers (Leader and 5) 7
Paingiver Beast Handlers (Leader and 5) 7
Paingiver Bloodrunners 9
Nihilators (Leader and 9) 15
Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew 2
Paingiver Bloodrunner Master Tormentor 0
Paingiver Bloodrunner Master Tormentor 0
Looking for a list pair... I really enjoy playing X2 (see list below, pretty OK success too) but I'm absolutely unsure if it's a viable pair. With that X2 list I ran pMakeda dudespam so far but to be honest I don't find her that much fun. I'm kinda going with the "ooh shiny" syndrome as I've been playing PoM and Mercs in MKIII so far... Actually I'm selling my Skorne and would like to give it a last spin (a local SR and a Masters if all goes right).
Xerxis Fury of Halaak -28
- Basilisk Krea 7
- Basilisk Drake 8
- Archidon 10
- Titan Cannoneer 17
- Aradus Soldier 16
Paingiver Beast Handlers (Leader and 5) 7
Praetorian Swordsmen (Leader and 9) 13
- Praetorian Swordsmen Officer & Standard 4
Venators Slingers (Leader and 9) 13
Paingiver Bloodrunner Master Tormentor 4
Paingiver Bloodrunner Master Tormentor 4
My other fav locks are Zaal1, Rasheth and Morg2. Thanks for your thoughts!

I looked at a Naaresh list a lot like the one you made. When I thought about holes, I noticed a big one real quick.
This is a meta of incorporeal solos, namely Gremlin Swarms. If you don't have more than one magic weapon or way to make more, you're in for a bad day. If you only have one list with magic weapons, you're effectively list locked. Grymkin are going to put a lot of them on the table, and I know I need to get Void Spirits on the table when I can, and Shamans to deal with the opposition.
If you like pZaal, then that's a good choice, though remember you might be forced into dropping it a lot. Perhaps pZaal, and change your list to have one Battle Boar, drop a Brute for another Shaman, and switch out the missing Battle Boar for a Savage. Keep the Battle Boar in the back, and use the Shaman's to cast the animus for you.
As an aside, here's what I want to try out.
Naaresh DoA Theme Force
-Archidon (x4) -Razor Wurm (x2) -Shaman (x2) -Rhinodon -Battle Boar
-Max PGBH (x2)
-Willbreaker
I noticed a problem with Pathfinder, thus the Archidons and Razor Wurms. I like the potential to turn Archidons into beastly fire-and-forget missiles. You can Sprint them galore(thanks to Primal going first), and same with Drag Below. Shamans pass out Primal as needed or zap, and there's a pocket Rhinodon for late game, not to mention the potential for Naaresh to do insane work with Sprint, Spiny Growth, and Blur on top of whipping. Just watch out for knockdown-like stuff. You'll have frenzies after feat turn, but fun thing is to Sprint Archidons over the opponent's lines at 14/19 and make the opponent either turn around or deal with it eventually.

Thanks for the input!
Good point about magical weapons. I guess Zaal1 would complement the Naaresh army as a list pair with all the AGs and possibly Immortals. As I'm selling my Skorne I don't really want to buy anything else, and I only have 1 Shaman. Could drop a Battle Boar for a Razor Worm or rather a Krea (Naaresh would have to go against shooty stuff if Zaal's the 2nd list).
