So, with that in mind, what's your other list? Actually, how do they both stand just now? The other list is pretty much a choice between three: 1) Strak2 LegoS - Deals with both armour and defence skew well enough, out threats most opposing lists and with the feat is able to hold scenario for at least a couple of turns. But I'm somewhat against running it due to very few of the models being painted (because painting pikemen is painful) and because transporting pikemen is also painful 2) A non-themed Karchev list that I haven't played much and need to get some practice games in with. 3) My tried and true non-theme Vlad2 list which is fairly similar to what people now call the 'Chris Davies Vlad2 list'. I've played variations of it since Mk2 and I think it only got better in Mk3 (though had to drop the poor Demo Corp).

Ok, cool.
So I went with Old Witch 1 and went through my list from before Goal was a list that works into Cryx (might be scuppered by the new theme, not sure yet) and also into Trolls since you'd had issues with them. Here's what I came up with on a first run through:
Jaws of the Wolf Old Witch +18 -Scrapjack -Juggernaut -12 -Kodiak -13 Forge Seer -0 -Behemoth -25 Forge Seer -0 Manhunter -4 Widowmaker Marksman -4 Battle Mechaniks (Min) -3 Kayazy Assassins (Max) -15 -Underboss -4 Kayazy Eliminators -5 Widowmaker Scouts -8
So first up, Old Witch was a given. Then I thought about what works into Trolls and Cryx in particular and came up with sniper and anatomical precision since they both ignore tough on infantry. Given the access to Behemoth with magic attacks for Ghost Fleet that led on to Jaws of the Wolf.
Combining those two, the first obvious addition was Behemoth on a forge seer, with a second for the extra focus. Next up, some assassins went in. I went with a maximum unit due to Old Witch having Iron Flesh to protect a big unit. Next, the widowmakers go in, as does their marksman. Battle mechaniks get added because there is Behemoth with his vulnerable sub cortex and Scrapjack with a vulnerable arc node.
This left points for a battlegroup and a few small solos and units. I initially wanted two juggernauts, but realized I'd be 1pt off getting a second free solo, which is a) annoying and b) reduces the list size. With one juggernaut and Behemoth already there I felt a kodiak would be good due to the extra cloud for Old Witch and Scrapjack to hide in (or to add to Murder of Crows for LoS denial) and the utility of power attacks over hitting power. Also built in pathfinder, apparition and the heavy boiler means it can get places.
This left 9pts to play with. First, the eliminators went in. More anatomical precision and good for grabbing circular zones in SR17. That left 4pts, which went on a manhunter. Again, good for flags in SR17, plus handy for charging Cryx arc nodes or adding a little extra hitting power to help the jacks.
So there we go! Totally untested, but I like it enough that I'll be giving the list a shot after the next tournament to see how it plays out. Looking at your other lists, Strakhov2 in Legion of Steel seems like a solid pairing for sure.
So next up would be to try the list to see if it works or needs some tinkering, then check the pairing works.
Cheers, Dave
