I love how this adds a lot to the miniatures. The house makes them playful, but also a bit sinister, really nicely done Can't wait to see them painted. Agreed. Whilst I don't generally like Malifaux minis, a creepy painted Baby Kade or the like in the doorway of the treehouse would add a spooky touch.

How about a doll lying on the floor near the door, like a teddybear or a ragdoll, without any human visible? It would suggest someone disappeared.

GW's plastic Dryad frame has some owls on it that would look cool perched in the branches. I wouldn't buy the box just for that, of course, but if you see anyone at your FLGS playing dryads, you could ask them if they have any extra owls that they would be willing to trade.

If you haven't painted the wood yet there is a way to weather the wood naturally to give it that old feel. Put some steel wool into some white vinegar. Let it sit for a while and then paint it on the wood with a brush. The wood will turn that grey sun bleached aged color. Could look cool with some moss on the roof etc.
