I am considering getting a small Circle Army. I want to try worshipping the devourer wurm, partially because shenanigans are fun and partially, well mostly, because I really like the looks of the Satyrs. Everyone knows the benefits of Warpwolfs, I won't argue that. What are experienced players impressions of the Satyrs though? Leaps, throws, slams and headbuts all sound like a party to me. So how do the Satyrs work in practice

Honestly? Not super well. I think the Shadowhorn is the one deserving of mention here, since he is an interesting piece with Kaya 3, Kromac 1, and potentially with Krueger 2.
The Riphorn would see play if it was Fury 4 or had pathfinder (or both) as a budget beater for Tanith, Wurmwood, Kromac 2, and maybe Mohsar.
Their pillowfistedness coupled with lower speed and no pathfinder really makes these guys less than ideal right now.

I had hopes for them and kaya3 and still have a lot of testing to do, but honestly so far, lack of pathfinder has been a real pain for me. I simply keep finding myself in situations where that has been such a handicap. Obviously, that is partially on me, but also, my opponent recognizes this and knows he can rely on a wall or water or whatever rough terrain to really put a cramp in things.

I really like the riphorn.
With Primal up, the Riphorn is a fantastic fire-and-forget module.
It dishes out 7 POW 17 attacks (that's before any caster buffs) and is a great way to initiate piece trades at a price tag of only 15 points. I find I can always deliver it thanks to the Rippy thanks to the forest wall that the sentries bring.

Main problem with satys is their spd, and Shadowhorn is the only who offers some mitigation there by being spd 6 and jumping. Then he is so pillow fisted that you need a caster able to overcome that part. I had some fun with a Kaya3 list with 4 shadowhorns, 4 scarsfell and a gorax.

That makes sense. I will say, I have always gravitated toward jank, so I'm not fully dissuaded but it does put things in perspective I like the idea of jumping into a heavy's back arc and combo throwing them up the field to have the crap smacked out of them early. Similarly counterslam... just counterslam...

I've had major success using a Shadowhorn in my Kaya 3 list:
Kaya 3 - WoldWyrd - Pureblood - Stalker - Wild Argus - Shadowhorn - Gorax Rager - Scarsfell Gallow Grove X2 Sentry Stones X2 Shifting Stones Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew
Played 2 games with this list yesterday, against two different guys both playing Vyros 1 (different lists, though). Both matches ended with assassination by Shadowhorn, Primalled and maxxed Synergy.
It went pretty much the same way. I started pulling ahead on synergy, and they brought Vyros a little too close, thinking he's be safe hiding behind a heavy or two. Hornhead walked up to the heavy, jumped behind, and proceeded to pulp Vyros.
So, yeah I can recommend the Shadowhorn with Kaya. I'm not sure if I could make him work with another caster though.

I like them all for different reasons. I do agree they need to gain pathfinder though. That alone would open the budget heavies into a much much greater use. I've had luck using the countercharge satyr with Tanith as well as the riphorn with a few casters. The jumping Satyr is pretty good, but doesn't really have a ton of hitting power unless you can buff them. I prefer to use Primal as little as necessary since its cost is way too high, but sometimes its necessary, and I'd rather lose a Satyr to it than a Warpwolf, though the latter certainly gets more from it.

I'm also fond of the satyrs but I've found you can't really think of them as a heavy warbeast. They are "medium warbeasts" that support well. Don't expect to ever get off counterslam (except maybe with Tanith) but you can use it to control your opponent to some degree. Despite his highish point cost Brennos can be surprisingly worth taking sometimes.

Where and why are ppl using brennos? Antirange aoe? Blessed? I just feel like 2 woldwyrds or 1 pureblood full similar roles. But he is so cool.

The thing I like is his toolboxieness. That's a word.
