Baldur hates seeing the naga across the table from him. This list has enough shooting to take care of the stones and wyrds, just be sure not to have Battle Host up at any time as that's assassination city! The Carni and Typhon can bully the Woldwrath as it can't afford to walk to within charge range of both.
Against Una, you can quite happily remove two or three birds a turn with shooting. With the magic objective and naga, you can keep shooting through windwall pretty handily too. When the birds eventually get in, Lylyth's feat and aiming and boosting to hit usually means you can stationary loads of things and trivially remove them. I find it works fairly well as long as you make sure to kill the bird with mirage on it every turn so that you can out-threat with all of the important guns. Pushing birds back with the bolt throwers works wonders to force them to run and engage. I can't wait to start using the ice witches for puppet master in this list. It will be glorious!
Run away. The only thing that makes Legion viable is Oracles, and even then it doesn't do much. Especially against Circle. Circle is anti-Legion.
How in Menoth's name is Circle anti-legion? If anything Legion preys on Circle more than any other faction.
I'm inclined to agree, at least from the internet talk outside of/before that thread I read. At worst, Circle is in the same boat as Legion, ie lots of infantry hate, mediocre infantry, expensive beasts. We just have a better theme list in Oracles.

You must have some really bad Circle players, then.
Or maybe my eyeless sight negates their stealth. My threat ranges equal or exceed. My spells are more controlling. My pathfinder and flying ignores their terrain generation and spells. And I have no problem with Wurmwood prenerf. So... Maybe you have bad Legion players?
Me too. I'm torn between being very hopeful that we'll see a substantial number of the buffs we need, and concerned that we'll get the Legion treatment, and have a substantial number of our needy living beasts left out in the cold.

Each faction has tools against the other. I don't think there is anything circle can drop that we can't answer, but a well-planned tournament pairing can always give Legion a run for its money.
Still, I think everyone's perception of how factions pair up is going to vary wildly based on local meta and individual players flavor.

Stealth isn't a viable survivability option, so I never even see that where I play.
