Hey guys!
I'm not really a Cryx player but I do Love some of the jacks and I love Denny3, both modelwise and ruleswise.
But is Denny3 with a bunch of jacks in Infernal machine something that's playable?
Or is she better with other stuff than jacks?

I've been experimenting with her but by no means profess to be an expert at this point. Infernal machines is definitely best for her; Ghost fleet lacks soul trappers or other good soul collection options and she doesn't want dark host because of souls again, everything's already ghostly and nothing in theme helps protect herself. Anyhoo, I'm sure jack-heavy is possible but I don't think it's the best way to go with her; I go the opposite direction and keep her battlegroup small (often malice+node+light). Her main trick is putting mortality and ghost walk on all the things, which generally rewards a high model count.
She does quite a lot of work by herself and is a dire assassination threat if she has landing space. Having ranged attacks in your list is important to help clear space for her, and is helpful for soul gathering that generally needs to happen before denny and most of your army activates. Skarlock/Withershadow also make souls and order of activations much easier. Soulhunters/carrion thralls can clear lanes then get out of the way. Outside of feat turn she's quite happy with just a couple souls to cast spells then upkeep grave wind on herself and camp most of her focus. Though ridiculously fast and quite tough, she is still vulnerable to assassination and you want to bring things that can help her survive. This mainly means wraith engine and shield guards. Ambushing brute thralls can be a way to give her upfield shield guards (again, super fast). She can also be healed by the necrosurgeon and necrotech, but they're too slow for this to be a common occurrence.
So i think you need something from each category here: Spell/focus support: Arc nodes*, Skarlock*/Withershadow* Warwitches Ranged attacks: Crabjacks, Team Bloat, Biles, Pistol Wraiths/Hellslinger, Warwitches, Aiakos, Withershadow/Skarlock, Skarlock Commanders Soul Collectors: Soul Trappers* (2 at minimum,3+is nice), Malice, Harrower, Soul Hunters, Pistol Wraith/Hellslinger, Withershadow, ILO, Skarlock Commanders Defense: Wraith Engine, Shield Guards (Brute Thralls or Inflictor) And then cram in as much stuff as possible to benefit from ghostly and mortality. Hopeful strategize to hit 3 free solos. *probably mandatory
What I'm playing around with at the moment: Denny3 Malice, 2x deathripper<-totally just for points and not owning shrike Skarlock (free) Wraith Engine 2x Soul trapper 3x Max McThralls, 1 brute thrall 2x Max Carrion Thralls Min Bile Thralls 2x Necrosurgeons (free)
Is it competitive? I'm not sure due to clock. Is it 71 models plus two battle engines? Yes.
Stuff I have not tried that I could see being good with her Sepulcher (she can fit sepulcher+deathripper+60pts of thralls if you're so inclined) 2x siren, ILO+seether: she's way faster than her jacks and would appreciate being to outpace them at will. Hellslinger Deathjack Aiakos battelgroup

I played more shoots version. It was:
Denny3 Leviathan Leviathan arcnode Skarlock
2-3 units of Mcthralls + shield guards 2 units of Necrosurgeons 2 Pistol Wraiths - free Hellslinger
with mortality those leviathans could really dmg a lot and 3 pistol wraiths were nice for flag scoring and magic shooting.

You can skip Pistol Wraiths and Hellslinger and get surgeons for free and try to get into the list the sepulcher to have more recursion.
