Hey All,
So basically I just found a great deal on a Skorne lot, and I'm brand new to the faction (reasonably new to the game as well — been sort of playing since the beginning of Mark II, but very, very few games. Trying to play at least a couple times a month now). I also bought the 2017 Skorne Army Box. I currently own 2 Titan Gladiators (the old metal one and the battlebox one), and I'm trying to decide if I want to bother magnetizing the two Titan kits in the Army box or just make one a Sentry and one a Cannoneer.
Frankly I hate magnetizing models, too fiddly for me when I'd rather be painting. Realistically I doubt I'll ever need more than 2 gladiators, right? Is there ever a situation where I'll want two sentries or two cannoneers? If I might want two of one but not two of the other, I might just glue assemble these two as Sentry + Cannoneer and just buy one more kit at some point in the future if I need it.
All that said, if I'm likely to want access to either double cannoneer or double sentry reasonably frequently, I can bite the bullet and magnetize.
What do you think?

I have 1 gladiator and 3 Sentry \ Cannoneer \ Tiberion magnetized kits. I found that more than enought for any of my lists.

Realistically I doubt I'll ever need more than 2 gladiators, right? Is there ever a situation where I'll want two sentries or two cannoneers? It is kinda rare to see more than two Gladiators. Actually most lists play just one of them. Double Sentries are common sight for Zaadesh 2, Xekaar and sometimes with Xerxis 1&2 while quite many ranged oriented lists and winds of death theme play double cannoneers. So if you have patience for it, then go for it and magnetize your titans.

Speaking as someone who hates modeling and painting to the extreme, I find magnetizing fairly easy and straight forward, and it helps me get better utilization from the kits. Also, it makes packing the models easier. To date, I have magnetized: - Legion Beast Kit x2 - Legion Proteus head - Protectorate Crusader Kit x2 - Protectorate Reckoner Kit x1 - Mammoth Tusks (because I mean, wow)
Never regretted any of it.
