To the overseer-mind,
I'm preparing for a tournament in a few weeks, looking for feedback on my lists. For my meta, I don't think I'll face ghost fleet, but may see a few grymkin players. Otherwise probably mostly a mix of Khador and Cygnar, a few Cryx, Circles & Menoth.
I plan to primarily play Scaverous Dark Host, since he allows ridiculous arm on 1 unit, and has a number of support abilities that overcome the weaknesses (threat range, high def) of bane infantry. I'm using 2 units of bane knights, backed by Wraith Engine and Darragh to ask some serious questions of my opponents anti arm capabilities - most pow 10 - 12 shooting will struggle to wound, and set defence will deny charge attacks. They are backed by Thwarriors to provide dark shroud and some stronger weaponmaster attacks. I'm tossing up an option to swap one knight unit for a second Thwarrior unit, but feel the anti arm capability of the list is taken care of, and knights are a lot more durable, skewing harder on the list's strength. It would also mean dropping the skarlock to get a second UA.
(Bane Riders not an option as I won't have time to assemble mine.)

Second list is pDenny Infernal Machines to mop up enemy infantry skews, and ask a few different questions of the opponent. pDenny is brutal alone, but carrying a nearly-all-stealth battlegroup, some powerful solos (3 pistol wraiths), stalkers, and mech thrall spam with ambush will keep the pressure on. Bile thralls are there partly as a distraction (I think their reputation will precede them, since no one's seen them in mk3), but also to give a credible anti-jamming option, and a potential assassination if they ignore them. Brute thralls can absorb the occasional shot, but if I see a serious anti-stealth list I will play Scaverous instead - too much risk for pDenny and Aiakos otherwise.
(Ghost Fleet not an option, can't drop that much moolah right now)
