I am not denying it helps in denying corpses tokens. Just saying it is not all that relevant. Is this based on theory or have u actually played again them? Currently I have played 10+ games with them against varied levels of Players. The heretic for example in a bump in the night list does not care about gathering corpses. Would love to play against sorcha2 with that list. Command is big enough to fit the entire army to trigger stealth. 13,5 inch threat from 2 ambushing murder crows forces you to play in the centre so will deny a flanking shatterstorm unit. If you want to rfp i would fear butcher3 a lot more with silence of death and a GC for example. Not trying to bash, just trying to help in making a beter pairing. Cheers What models does Heretic bump plays exactly? Rfp makes aura from knell less, stops recursion from witches and hollowmen. I guess Grymkin can try to not play all those to get around rfp in one of their lists, but then it becomes weaker so I'm okay with that. Particularly without knell aoes from rockets/mortars/carriage will do a number on their infantry regardless of stealth. As a side note desperately paced wgi sprays is a good tech against infantry that S2 has. She also can play into beast bricks with her feat since unlike jack bricks they don't require that much arm cracking commitment.

The crows force your opponent to play 13,5 inch from the edges or lose stuff early. (ps 13 on prey, 15 with arcana) Stealth arcana migitates the damage a lot, you lead with hollowmen, since you are playing lots of infantry as well I see. On the relevant turn you will rfp 1 model (rfp is on direct hit), maybe some blasts will kill some models, aoe 3 is not that relevant, easily avoided by spreading. On my turn I return any hollowmen destroyed by blast damage, murder crows creep up. Rattler threatens berserk and overtake.
Wall of fire denies placement for other ranged units.
Arcana: - Shroud +1 dependent on rest of the list
But a cloud wall from KoN with Frightmares is the other list. So depending on the rest of the sorcha list its either KoN or the Heretic. Again, not trying to claim to have the answer. Just trying to make clear it's not an easy matchup just because of shatterstorm and some sprays that do not threaten further then Hollowmen.

Well if it has 2x hollowmen even more reason to bring S2. Beating them without rfp in infatry-based list will be a problem and beating fury+pumpkins with jack list will be another problem. Sprays can both ignore the stealth and deal bunch of directs. Sure, you'll get alphaed by hollowmen but that's no big deal since sprays generate lots of hits. Blasts can target non-recurring units in the stealth turn, so they're still welcomed.

Isn't recursion on hollowmen dpendent on them killing things? (See Joe's song of tough). They can not activate turn come back. Moroever, that is a lot of models in your 20 inch command bubble and so I will take chances on aoes

I believe the hollowmen can't return if they are removed from play period.
In my opinion, Sorcha 2 was never bad. Just suffers from "Irusk 1 does it more interestingly" syndrome. Giver her back the CMA thing and I think she would be pretty great.
