So played a 75pt game the other day and gave us a couple of questions we couldn't quite figure out during the game so figured would post on here:
1- River Raiders do they get the aiming bonus if they are in combat (and choose to forfeit their move as don't want to move out of combat.) And would they get this bonus even against the person they are in combat with. 2- River raiders again if they shoot their guns in combat does it become a melee attack? say shooting the same person they are in combat with as they don't have gunfighter. 3- Can River raiders say charge an enemy then use they harpoon guns to shoot a friendly feralgeist and reel back in to your lines in a weird yo-yo effect. 3 - Can a Bog Trog shambler bokur do his magic ability "Hand of Glory" after charging into combat (both in lieu of his charge attack and if the target he charged has already been killed by something else.)

1) You cannot gain the aiming bonus while in melee (I swear. someone correct me if I'm wrong) 2) It does not become a "melee" attack. it's still a ranged shot that uses their RAT. Dual attack lets them make attacks in melee, and specific to Dual Attack they can target models they are not in melee with. So- 3) They can charge a target, make their melee charge attack, then used their ranged shot against another target. I do not believe they can 'reel in' to friendly targets. re-read the rules to see if it specifies "enemy model"(I don't have it in front of me) 4) The Bokor cannot charge and cast hand of glory in the same turn no matter the situation. Hand of glory is a star action. So if you charge you must make a charge attack. If the target charged is dead you can redirect the melee attack (no boosted damage) but you cannot cast his spell.

Cheers for taking the time to reply been looking into it some more... 1 ) you are indeed correct hidden in the bullet points on P49. 2) yeah figured as much but wanted to make sure - 3) and yeah ye are right on the "reel in" front too which just teaches me to read my cards correctly. 4) We thought as much we just couldn't find where it said so.
