What do you put down and strategy to deal with lights that can often trade well above their points?

I don't get a lot of practice against protectorate, but when I do, its this list. Swordsmen and Raptors. Fyanna or Kryssa are best IMO. With Kryssa I run a unit of raptors and 2x swordsmen. Teh raptors harass the choir to kill them off, and then sort of screen for the raptors. then with feat it only takes 3-4 swordsmen to kill each jack, so you can take out most of them pretty quickly.

I have had decent success with this one. Thagrosh1, Carnivean x2, Angelius, Ogrun Warspears + UA, 2 Hellmouths, Black Frost Shard, Forsaken, Shepperd x2. The sheer tankiness and making a model/unit immune to fire is very good. And at the end of the day. Thags will always have spiny Growth up for free, and can bring back another Carnivean during feat or an Angelius if you lost it too soon. A Naga might be more useful than Black Frost shard, but I do abuse those warspears with Kiss, Prey, and Draconic Blessing. Making them hit for a Pow 19, with both the assault shot and the Melee weapon during the same charge activation. And the Hellmouths are gold here. Sure, they can move around your models during their activation, but during your turn, you can pull them in, and the Carniveans will be there waiting for the target.

Whenever I had my pKallus + BB, Raiders, double Swordsmen list not a single Amon player ever dared to drop him against me. This should speak for itself.
