um so exactly how do these lists take on khador jack spams? With trolls as well, a lot of your fire rolls would be nulled. Basically, alter one of your lists to give it some serious punching power. That's what I see right off the start. Oh, and the choir in your kreoss list only needs to be minimum

to be fair, champs format lacks Horgle2 and a good Khador Jack Spam caster. On the flip-side, irusk2 and z1 would love to see your lists, and kallus2's still around.

Caine and Stryker Strakhov has always loved fire lists Asphyxious Ragnor ... fire should be pretty good against the circle casters as long as you watch for assassination if you actually see Skorne, beware Morghoul's assassination run. Hexeris channels powerful spells through his beasts. Mordikaar is a soul caster, beware void spirits under him but other than that he's a walk in the park Lilyth if she's still as cheap as she used to be
I haven't seen many of the other factions casters enough to say if you would have issues or not. The fact that you are using sprays really helps against some though.

Excellent responses and really appreciate the insight thanks to a great and active local meta I have matched up with many of the casters mentioned. The exceptions being Stryker, Ragnor, Hexeris, and Morghoul. Luckily(or possibly unlucky) for me my local skorne player and I will be throwing down this week and he's bringing Hexeris. I'll make it a point to match up against our local troll player since Ragnors kit is probably the one I'm least familiar with. In regards to the response of dropping the choir to minimum I can also drop the second wrack and achieve 3 points but in regards of where to spend it I'm stumped. The fire immunity does sometimes list lock me but frankly the only time it feels uphill is if it's fire immune and armor skew. Good news is I've got a month to test out any suggestions before the tournament.

To my knowledge the only difference between champions and masters is that in champions you are only allowed to select your 2 warcasters from the 4 that are in your factions current adr roster.

the "active" list might change by then, if you have a whole month. I'm not sure how often it does, but they mentioned that they cycle.

My gaming group really enjoys the format. We are by no means a national meta bending group but we meet at least twice a week not counting tournaments and cons. For us the limited caster selection forces the players to fully explore their faction. At the beginning of mk3 I took this same caster pairing but had the judicator on kreoss and clearly no eye of truth with malekus and took first place but it was the first major tournament so as many of us can relate people were taking mk2 lists and shiny new things before knowing how the new edition would flesh out. Bringing the colossal back into the list and even tweaking it to fall under creators might is rather easy but the increased number of zones and los blocking terrain has played favorably for me taking more models rather than less. If your group hasn't tired champions and especially if your introducing newer players to the competitive format I suggest trying it.
