It's Community Integrated Development, PP's newish playtesting program, accessably via cid.privateerpress.com. Currently Northkin are getting looked at in CID.

The idea behind CID is to involve the playerbase in the design process. After PP comes up with a rule set and internally play tests (complex process), they have a 2-3 week cycle where players can test them out and provide feedback. In that time, model rules can be further revised by PP.
PP also uses CID to test changes for existing models. They had a recent cycle for Battle Engines.

The idea behind CID is to involve the playerbase in the design process. Playtest process, not design process. For very good reasons.

Several suggestions in the dev talks have been used as changes. Play tests are the most integral part of it, but theory has had impact several times.

All I want to know is when Storm Lances and Laddermore will finally have their changes updated. It's taking forever.

All I want to know is when Storm Lances and Laddermore will finally have their changes updated. It's taking forever. I think they want to wait until everything in that cycle is ready for release to put out the errata. PP said one of their goals is to not change the game too often, to try and give some stability to players.

Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Now! Blarg starts flipping tables, smashing windows, goose-step marching into groups of old ladies, slapping police with leather gloves, burning tires, and other acts of outrageous tom-foolery while screaming "Now!" Or sometime soon would be nice...
