Theoretical pairing before I do something stupid and buy all the things.
Ok so here is my theoretical pairing, please give me some critique on what this may be good into and where the holes are.
List 1: Umbrey Steel Theme: Jaws of the Wolf

First off, love the name! Arjac was my favorite and I tried to work him into every 40k battle that I lost. It was GLORIOUS! With regard to the lists; the Vlad list is almost just like mine, except I have no doge or Mechanics. I have the full widowmakers, 4 Marauders, a Devastator, a demolisher and Behemoth marshaled by one of the 2 seers. It has run well and I think would be very strong if I just played better. I think your list is very solid the way it is too. I think because I tend to keep Behemoth back, missing out on Vlads FEAT is no big loss, and threats 10" with Boundless Charge with 5 attacks from the power ups and Crush, all with +2 Str. Oh yeah, and all his attacks are magical, thank you very much!
I actually don't know much about WGK, but I have been loving the Gun Carriage. I don't know how much that would hurt or change things for you to drop a 14pt jack and the artillery guy to squeeze one in?
Those are my thoughts for what they're worth.

I really hope you magnetize those Marauders.
Irusk should play less jacks and either 1 more unit of wg or carriage (and 1 more free artillery unit).
As far as matchups go I think you're okay. Incorporeal can be a problem but you can just switch Behemoth to Seers to counter that or switch some jack to marshalled Destroyers if you magnetize.

I've heard the battle engine is bonkers right now. I can see the wisdom in adding it, that said is it better to use the resulting free card to get the artillery captain back or to grab another field gun/mortar? Also yes I fully plan to magnetize everything.

The funny thing is that if you switch casters in your lists - both still work fine. Normally you should select your primary list and for each paring check - if there's a question that the other list is better into. I think they are both good into massed infantry. But as soon as you see cloudwalls - Irusk is out of equation. On the other hand, with strong control casters you're in trouble with Vladimir, etc.

So should I be looking at a different caster for list two? B3 perhaps? Idk just spit balling as I don't play Khador yet. I'm going to look at B3 WGK here for a min and be back with a list.

So I assume Vladimir1 is your primary list. Then the second one compliments it nicely. I'd look into switching Kodiak for a Devastator for some no-KD no-Push protection for Butch. And maybe a second one for better scenario play.

I'm going to shoot you down by telling you that silence of death is a strength buff and the gun carriage's trample is based off its pow with no strength bonus. So you won't get the benefit I'm afraid.

This is basically b3 tournament list I'm using except I take 1 less artillery, take mechanics and Kodiak is upgraded into Devastator. It's okay.
