because the vanquisher doesn't have a shield, it's pretty much just as fluffy as the dervish. Adding the redeemer into the mix, means you have a ranged AoE and a parrying combo attack that's just as strong as the vanquishers, only since they are split they both can attack on the same turn instead of choosing between ranged or melee attacks. This is why people were mentioning the "reload" option, as it gives him the ability to attack just as often as the redeemer and the dervish. On the other hand, however, I'd probably prefer to go crusader dervish and not suffer the one point loss. When piece trading, the crusader is a highly valid jack that can hold his own. The dervish can dice up whatever finishes off the crusader. The purifier is more effective than he looks, so don't look down on him too much. especially with infantry coming back and everyone crying for shield and buckler bonus', he'll become much, much better, especially on Amon's force where he gains parry. All he has to do is touch bases to ignite things on fire x.x; My only problem with purifier is his flametrail (same with F3ora's Feat). Our faction does not have anything that make it useful and could be replaced with anything else.

How about purifier has a melee attack that does +2 damage to targets that are on fire. Or while within 2" models o fire suffer -2 def.

Fuel the flames on the Purifier would make it stand out from the Dervish; you would be sacrificing damage output for buffing other model's fire.

How about purifier has a melee attack that does +2 damage to targets that are on fire. Or while within 2" models o fire suffer -2 def. Flame trail is awesome but only if you ignore free strikes. For instance a purifier with Amon can run through a large amount of enemy infantry for hilarious effect. On F3's feat turn you'll want daughters, flame bringers or dervishes if flame trail is part of the plan. Try feating on a unit of flamebringers and rampaging through the enemy back field with one of them while the rest charge, good times.

Vanquisher just needs to be 1 point cheaper. Then he's fine.

if the destroyer needed 2 points, I'd argue the seeming direct counterpart does as well.

The destroyer IS 14pts. 15 for a vanquisher seems in the realm of reasonable. I think the reckoner is an overall better package, so 15 vanquisher 16 reckoner feels solid.

How to fix Kreoss 2?
A spell that creates a bubble of armour for warrior models may work. (arm version of old surefoot)
Or death march instead of sacrosanct? Heck even penitence may be better than sacrosanct.

my issue with kreoss2 is that he doesn't deliver infantry (outside of IR), especially exemplar. Better Errants and Medium-based Exemplar (Errants deliver themselves but even with feat don't do a ton except against like griffons, and the medium-based exemplar currently aren't tanky enough to deliver themselves) would do a ton to help him hit the table, as would some way to make Interdiction better for something other than KE spam and jack spam.
