I played Legion in Mk2, but sold all models (yes, yes, stupid). Am currently between factions but I'm considering returning the athanc to my chest. Any ideas on where to start? I really like the "hit and run" feel of Legion and I'm considering kicking it off with a Thagrosh 1 list. Suggestions? Or should I start elsewhere?
Any suggestions welcome!

Thagrosh1 is not very "hit n run" style but its solid warlock and its nice to start with, altought you are not total beginner. He can work with many different lists so its up to you. Top chocies are heavy build in Oracles and Children of the Dragon.Oracles: Typhon,2x Carnivean + something. I like hex hunters with him, even more with aparition from Oracles. Children of the Dragon builds can be found here: lormahordes.freeforums.net/thread/1617/thags-cotdIMO most fitting warlock for "hit n run" would be Fyanna2. One of our current top choices, dodge on feat, lots of deff, admonition and sprinting Neraphs. Maybe Twins, Kallus2 and Vayl2 to some extent also will match this play style.

Lylyth3 is also a solid pick together with thagrosh1, and it doesnt get a lot mor hit and run than her.

Admittedly, my choice of Thag1 largely depends on me wanting to paint the model (again), I love it. But an ARM-cracking Thag list paired with a shooty Lylyth (1/2) list could perhaps be interesting? Lylyth 3 is also neat. List ideas? (= things to put on a purchase shortlist).

My personal Thag1 list that's served me pretty well:
Thagrosh1 (Oracles) -Typhon -Carnivean -Carnivean -Seraph -Neph Protector Forsaken Forsaken Spell Martyr Spell Martyr Hex Hunters x10 -Bayal
Lots of sprays, and very tanky (by Legion standards, that is). Slap Draconic Blessing on the Hex Hunters at the start of the game so that you can spray through them.

(Lylyth 3) Lylyth, Reckoning of Everblight [+29] - Angelius [17] - Angelius [17] - Angelius [17] - Naga Nightlurker [8] - Nephilim Bolt Thrower [11] - Ravagore [19] - Seraph [14] Blighted Nyss Shepherd [1] Blighted Nyss Sorceress & Hellion [0(6)] Blighted Nyss Sorceress & Hellion [0(6)] The Forsaken [0(4)] The Forsaken [0(4)]
I seldom play without naga, and would even swith the protector in the list above into one (personal preference tho), hand out blessed on a stick is just sooo good.

Yeah, I can see the Naga preference. The Protector is mainly there to defend against stuff like Alten Ashley.

Yeah, I can see the Naga preference. The Protector is mainly there to defend against stuff like Alten Ashley. like i said, its mostly personal preference. i play a lot of cygnar, so blessed is a must. if the second list is a lylyth3 list like the one i posted, it should be possible to skip it.

Lylyth 3 is also neat. List ideas? (= things to put on a purchase shortlist). Yeah, pThags is a fine choice to start Legion (again) and pairs well with shooty and scalpel lists. Good thing about him is, that he likes a lot of stuff you'll play elsewhere too. pThags choices: - Typhon. Definitly. - 1 Seraph per usual - he's one of the few casters with whom Hex Hunters are quite nice (although still not mandatory) - Forsaken of course - 1-2 non-char heavies are enough for quite a while, they don't see as much play as during MK2 - Angelius ares still popular and with Oracles of Annihilation often played in tripleds With OoA you'll often see 1-2 Sorceress, but only with this theme force. pThags can play a lot of other stuff, but those are the common choices atm. But you don't have to refrain from alternatives just because they're not found in the current netlists. Be aware that Lylyth2 has fallen from her throne. Hard. Unless you want to tackle a very specific meta skew, I can't recommend her. Lylyth1 is decent imho, but has quite a darkhorse factor. If you often play against the same players, she might become harder to play the longer you play her. But with her you can build some nice, wonky lists, uncommon in Legion. I personally want to play a doubl-lessers build ince forever, but still did not get around to do it. Lylyth3 is Legion's main caster since MK3 came out, so there are enough versions of her netlist out there. Her army choices are pretty straight forward. Just beware one trap I've seen some people fall into: don't play Archers with her.

Another suggestion for a hit-and-run type list could be something similar to Fyanna's Flying Circus. A handful of Neraphs and Angelii
The Neraphs like Draconic Blessing as well as they do Fury so there's also some overlap between the two.

Abby 2 is always a good choice, especially if you just want to spam beasts. She can perform hit-and-run tactics personally rather well, and while maybe a one-trick pony, a list of nothing but her, beast masters, forsanken and shredders in an Oracles list is hillarious.

I'd actually recommend looking at Circle for superior hit-and-run play; Legion lost a lot in that way, and I wouldn't say we hold the crown for that style.
Neraphs can do it, but they're generally only played with warlocks who buff their low damage, while also sticking to Oracles for the free sorceress (free charges). Fyanna2 is the top choice there, but Absylonia2 can get one turn of something similar.
Kallus2 can orchestrate some hit-and-run, but it's dicey. Vayl1 and Thagrosh2 play in that fashion, but both are currently out of favor, so you won't see much talk about them.
The new character beast for our new warlock spoiled at L&L, Golab, is a blighted bird thing with Lightning Strike and Finisher, but we don't know its combat abilities.

What we also know: SPD7, PS14, Flight and Entropic Force.

Just beware one trap I've seen some people fall into: don't play Archers with her. I really like Lylyth1 and have been running her since the start of Mk3. If you want to play hit-and-run in Legion, she synergizes well with a lot of our more mobile options, like Neraphs, Raptors, and the Hellion. She also fares well in the mirror match against Fyanna thanks to her feat. I'm still experimenting with her with the recent update to the Throne and potential ability to include Farrow Brigands in an Oracles list. I'm intrigued by Rorsh and Brine benefiting from Parasite too, but am having a really tough time fitting them in while still getting the free theme solos I want. Also, what's the latest hotness with Lylyth3 anyway? A while back, I remember a lot of people running some list with Typhon, Striders, etc. but that was before themes and Azrael. Then, when Fyanna came out, she more or less dominated the conversation. I typically like to follow my own path, but I'm also curious for ideas since I just picked her up recently.

Battle Host (Escort) is good. Wind wall is good. 3 eyeless sight shots at no fury cost is good. Blood Boon is good. Reposition 5" on a fast, ranged Warnock is good.
