How many models do we really have that can take advantage of high proof? Pyre trolls, fire-eaters, and whatever Horgle puts his firetype spell on? Is Horgle the only caster with a fire damage spell as well? Just seems kind of odd when everything in the theme release seems to be pointing more towards cold than fire.

The HH can take advantage of its own rule. That makes it useful by itself. One of the new Northkin units also has fire attacks. I'm more concerned by the small area on Stumbling Drunk. That seems wonky. It might also be slightly overpriced.

Plus you could drift onto hard to hit models(under cover or something that the sprays would ignore). Course if you wanted to get both sprays on it you would have to shoot something directly in front of you it looks like.

Between the Hooch Hauler and the Raiders, I feel like Horgle's stock just went up... need to try it out.

I have to say, I am really not a fan of how much "boosted" they're putting out on fire theme, it kinda feels like a bit of anti-synergy where Fire Eaters seem to not have a relationship with the Hooch Hauler. Horgle has a similar problem. Doesn't necessarily mean the model isn't good enough (it has a TON of other cool support capabilities and supports itself nicely) but the fire anti-synergy in faction doesn't feel like a fun pattern.

To be fair, it still gives FE the +1 to hit.

HH, 2 units of croak raiders sounds fun to me.

If the merc/minion in theme changes go through, you can also bring a unit of Croak Raiders alongside your Northkin Raiders. Really push the oil/fire angle. Not sure how ideal that is, but it's definitely a thing.

I can say based on my last game where I faced it that: 1: Stumbling drunk is amazing and I hate having to plan around it. Suddenly even the best laid plans can be foiled by a simple stagger away. 2: That thing puts out some HEAT. Boosted damage on the sprays and the pow 16 AOE is horrifying and it's only issue is Rat 5...cause apparently trolls are really bad at hitting things at range. 3 : That Leaderahip ability comes up A LOT. +1 Mat and rat for Bearkas BG is actually a really big deal. Mat 7 maulers and Mat 6/7 lights is awesome. Rat 6 storm troll sprays and rat 6 Ice troll spears.
It's a huge force multiplier.

I like the HH (CID V1) better than the WW (final). The ability to self-boost the initial POW 16 (High Proof is on HIT) and 2x POW 12 sprays (at least for any in the 4" AOE) seems good. The Stumbling Drunk aura seems annoying for Tourney play, your clock/my clock, fun for casual (memories of silly events). Vet Leader is a solid aid. Can a Pyg Lookout Mark itself? Cause I see the HH shooting one in the back just where it counts!

That would make for some... odd strategies. Troll bowling evolved.

Grim1's Return Fire on HH makes for a greased-up battlefield! Off turn boosted POW 16?, probably instead a drifting boosted POW 8 blast damage with oil for some of those enemies! Why can't Cabers be damage type:Fire?! Seems like a weak cousin to Rocketeers STILL
