This is a Q for people with a lot of tabletop exp
Krielstone is a major (thing in thing) since it is a very significant buff that cannot be mitigated as in dispelled or circumvented.
Can it just be killed? Even if just whittled down, every Fury you pick off it by killing one of them has the potential to leave some Trolls without their cover. How do you do it? Anyssa seems most suitable for the job, is she good enough? And if she is, are there other good enough options, like Raptors, Strider scouts, Deathstalkers, etc? Or do those units have more important stuff to do, in general?
Like I said, the Q is for frequent gamers, so no theorizing please, we all know ranges and stuff. If there is a brief battle report or story when this succeeded or not, please share it.
By extension, this Q would clear up dealing with a lot of other backfield units (Paingivers, Journeymen, caster attachments etc.). Some stories about those would also be appreciated.

Trolls have almost dried up completely in my area since MK3 so take this with a grain of salt but in my experience Deathstalkers are the best Krielstone hunting solos we have. Since they AD it usually only takes a turn or two of running up the sides of the table for them to get in a position where they can start picking off Krielstone unit members. They can both potentially kill two models a turn and since they ignore Tough you have good odds of bringing them down. The downside is that stuff like concealment and elevation drastically decrease their odds of successfully killing models. The other alternative would be Annyssa as you mentioned. As long as the Krielstone is her Prey target she's effectively RAT9 and since she's so fast she can likely start taking shots on the stone on round 2 depending on positioning. I wouldn't advise devoting a unit of Raptors to this because they're a lot more expensive than 8 points (even a min unit) and with "only" RAT7 they can easily miss if the Trolls have any sort of defensive buff. Raptors are usually better off fighting the line infantry or taking potshots at beasts.
You can definitely use similar tactics against other support units like you mention.

Annyssa is a good choice for stone killing. I will usually start her off with a solo as prey, then immediately move prey to the stone after said solo is dead. As Whiskie mentioned Deathstalkers are also a good choice as they are usually shooting support staff anyway.

the one time i have had to play trolls in a tourney in mk3 i had an ambushing unit of blightblades deal with the stone fairly well. took a couple turns to get it down to a rather useless level, but between tieing it up, killing stone grunts, and him wasting an axer trying to deal with the blightblades, they were effective in removing it from the game.

That blightblades example is a good one. Question is, also, by the time Krielstone gets neutralised (either killed or so weakened that some other part of Troll army gets exposed) does it matter anymore?
That is why I led with Anyssa as a premier unit. She can viably shoot some Advance Deployed troops on approach and then start picking off Krielstone Grunts on turn two. In hindsight Deathstalkers will miss out on shooting turn one but if they run on turn one, they will be positioned equally well as Anyssa to start picking off grunts, and they will kill four per turn so it will make an impact on turn two and perhaps eliminate them on turn three, so they may be a better choice, the only @but@ is their survivability, and alternative uses (Anyssa is still way better against solos, casters and even warbeasts and warjacks). Blightblades will appear on turn two, run, and get to a fight only on turn three, and that could be too late, as the main engagement starts on turn three and Krielstone still covers the main hitters. Maybe an analysis whether to go first or second can help here?
I still think Raptors are the way to go too, as in makes sense for them to take care of enemies buff first, and only then charge in.
Deathstalkers seem like the premier unit for the job ATM.
