Hello all, just looking for advice/experiences because I've been spitballing a list to pair for WiTC. I've got a Xerxis2 list pretty much in the bag, with Tibbs and Hydra, a beastly fastball. Now I'm trying to find a pair for it. Originally I was looking at a Winds of Derp list, but it never felt quite right. Especially because I'm not the fastest player. Now I'm looking at an old idea I never did get around to testing, and I'm wondering if anybody has input on a few of the interactions I'm looking at (since it may be a week or 2 before I actually get to put models on a board, my car died).
Firstly the list, note I'm looking less for overall list impressions than how it's parts work. I'm very much still throwing things against the wall and seeing what sticks.
Xerxis1 ~Titan Sentry ~Titan Sentry ~Agonizer
Wrongeye & ~Snapjaw
Max Karax Max Nihilators Gatormen Bokor + Shlubs Legends of Halaak Min Beast Handlers
The Battlegroup is it's own little thing and generally will stay in a nice little wedge. Wrongeye's job is to make the Karax and/or the Legends stupid to deal with. Karax's job is to protect and deliver the Nihilators and/or the Legends. Bokor + Shlubs job is to soak casualties and flood the place and be annoying late game. That's what I'm looking at just now, if anybody has any words of wisdom, please bring them here. Also if anybody has specific knowledge concerning Legends under D.Ward and Starcrossed and if they're as stupid to kill as I think they will be, come on down.

why no taskmaster? Reposition is great on Wrong Eye, and the bokor likes tough or extra power on his schlubs.
In my Xerxis1 star crossed list I run a pair of Brutes. Def 13 base with set defense and forcing up to three rerolls on enemy attacks is nasty. Under defenders ward and star crossed a Brute will not die. Using brutes makes it hard to use heavies in the battlegroup. They don't have much defense though, so why'd you want to? I run Swordsmen + UA for stir the blooded weapon master attacks. With Legends and Snapjaw being no lightweight, killing heavies isn't too much of a problem. Keep the Karax. They rock with Star Crossed and Def Ward.
All this makes for a list that is incredibly hard to crack, but only in melee really. A Krea and Orin will shore up a lot of the ways this list can get penetrated.

Shamblers are a great scenario piece and the Stationary catches people off guard.
