Hey guys, here is what I found about the ETC winning team.
German(1 of 2 present afaik) team won with after beating a Swedish tema on the last round. AFAIK an English team ended up in second.
Cygnar: Haley2 Storm Division / Kara Sloan Cryx: Asphyxious1 / Coven Ghost Fleet Skorne#1: Hexeris2 Winds / Naresh Skorne#2: Mordikaar Winds / Rasheth Skorne#3: Morghoul2 Winds / Makeda2
This is from a pic floating around on tweeter. Can anyone make the lists out? I can't read them...
Who has more info?

That's odd, how does a team with three Skorne players win a major team tournament when Theme Forces can only be beaten by other overpowered theme forces and Skorne only has one theme force that's terrible? Surely the internet hasn't been lying to me?! this is sarcasm

Skorne OP, we must go back to December 2016 Skorne! PP got it right first time!

First time I see someone with Kara Sloan into his pair win something (even if it was the secondary list of one of a 5 man team tournament with 3 Skorne players and a not-denny Ghost Fleet). Now I can die happy.

I don't know what they played in each matchup but each pair has 1 theme list, advertisement for PP's 50% target?
Now that this thread is properly seasoned can someone get any actual info?

The ETC is not a good format for seeing what is actually the best. The format means you can dodge a lot of bad matchups and thus can run jankier stuff.
What's good for a team tournament isn't always good for a steamroller.

I agree, although on the flipside, with 3 Skorne Players in a team, and needing at least 3 wins a round to win the match you can say that "The German team advanced each round with at least 1 Skorne Player Winning each round". I'm not sure how their pairing process went, but with 3 Skorne it seems very unlikely that all 3 were thrown to the wolves to get the non-Skorne favorable match ups (which was a thing last year in the WTC). Also, I don't know how influential was the psychological aspect of having a team captain asking "Who wants to fight Skorne?" and having a bunch of overconfident members raise their hand.

Do you think someone still believes Skorne is a poor faction, post-errata ? oO There are actually people who do. They probably don't have a Skorne player in their meta. As to having 3x Skorne in a 5 man team? It's probably to screw with our heads. There's probably some value in misdirection shortly before the WTC. Skorne is good, but surely not that good. So how did they win? By being damn good players.

I know those german players, have played once against Sasha. This is a guy who you can give a random army and he will win with it. They are top lvl. So I wouldntbe surprised they won with 3x Skorne!

I was at the ETC and it was my first major event.
It was also an eye opener! As a team we did okay (middle of the pack) but personally I got teared a new one. (it didn't help that we drew England roses in round 1)
So for me this highlights player skill, so im in no way surpised that skorne did so well, those guys are incredible.
