Hi everyone, I am currently magnetizing my titan kit and wanted to ask how others did it. If I didn't miss anything there are 29 magnets needed to do this propperly, including the small pair of arms and even the tusks (there are 3 heads, but only one set of tusks). Is it needed for tournament play to actually get it all done or could I just keep one head for all 3 different Beasts and just use the small arms without any gadgets (the cannoneer is holding a torch)?
Has anyone experience with this? Has anyone actually magnetized the tusks? did it work?
Currently I have 2x5, 1x5, 2x3, 1x3mm magnets. Am I needing anything else?
Thanks for your advice.

I have 1 pair of magnets in head and pair of magnets in hands. Thats it, and IMO thats enought. Magnetising small hands is too much - i just use gladiators ones.
That all cause i found additional sets of tusks. You might want to try to search for it in PP bits shop or somewhere else.

Thanks, the bitshop is good advice, unfortunately I am european and ordering 8 tusks (4$) will be charged with 14$ shipping cost. oO
Also I realized there might be 2 different verions of the kit, since mine (skorne army box 2017, probably the new version) has no arms attached to the body and therefore needs a magnet between arm and shoulder (2 different right arms) and another one between right arm and right hand (switching from gladiator to sentury). I almost feel like they "optimized" to make it hard to magnetize for people to flip the table and just buy a kit for every model they need...

I have magnetized every part of my titan kits, tusks included. I mainly used 5x2mm magnets to do the large arms and for everything else I used 3x1mm magnets. Aside from needing an appropriate sized drill bit for each magnet its pretty simple work.
One piece of advice I would give though is if you are doing multiple titan kits this way make sure your magnets are all polarized the same way across all your kits.

I haven't magnetized my Skorne, but I did magnetize 3 Protectorate and 2 Legion kits, as well as 11 TAU battle suits with all of the bits. ALL. OF. THE. BITS. On the plus side, it's much easier than painting, and I would sooner drill and fit magnets than pick up a paint brush any day.

I definately prefere painting over magnetizing. But nonetheless, I will go for it then. Thanks for all the advice.
