So with the changes to Necrosurgeon. What is the consensus on running out of theme revanent crew with Necrosurgeons and various thralls. You kill 1 revanent and I get to return 2 models to the table. To good?

To good? I think it could work, but it's not much different from Goreshade 3 recycling models he kills himself. After turn 1 you will always have so much tokens that you will be able to return 3 to play anyway, so it's maybe a bit redundant.

I wouldn't call it "too good" but it does sound like a fun army to try once.
Good: Constantly recycling and growing your army which can be brutal on attrition. If you take a min unit of each thrall, you can choose your army as you go depending on the opponent and game state. Infantry swarm? (points to my paired list) Go nuts with Biles. Slow single target hunks of armor? Hello Mechanithrall swarm. Time to finish off a corroded caster? Trade it all for Carrions. You get rewarded for throwing troops at your opponent's face. As a bonus, maybe you could combine it with a Sepulcher since its CID update? Unlike souls, body tokens can be duplicated the last time I checked. Would also give you a heavy hitter that the army would otherwise lack.
Bad: Insanely weak to anti-infantry tech like electro leaps and sprays. May or may not have the same returns as the Revenant theme; don't count on 2-for-1 every time. Requires a caster like Deneghra or Terminus that can support them all equally. Relies on the Necrosurgeon not getting sniped out.

The Necrosurgeon has Sacrificial Pawn [Thrall], so it should be possible to keep it safe.

Kill 3 Thralls to fill up one Surgeon, kill 3 Revenants to fill up the other Goreshade Mockery back the 3 Thralls, Surgeons create 3 Thralls, get the 3 Revenants back next turn. It's basically one huge never ending thrall factory.

A powerful necromancer, hordes of undead thralls being created/controlled by some solos, and just enough warjacks to smash whatever the zombie horde can't handle.

It's interesting because it's one of the specific cases where Agathia runs something better than the coven. A hellwrought sepulcher with Aggie behind it solves a bunch of problems and mass ghostly on a wave of 50ish thralls will overwhelm a lot of lists. Something like: (Agathia 1) Bane Witch Agathia [+29] - Nightwretch [7] - Nightwretch [7] - Sepulcher [36] Carrion Thralls (max) [10] Carrion Thralls (max) [10] Mechanithralls (min) [6] - Brute Thrall (3) [6] Mechanithralls (max) [9] - Skarlock Commander [3] Mechanithralls (max) [9] Necrosurgeon & Stitch Thralls [0(4)] Necrosurgeon & Stitch Thralls [0(4)]
