So, I jumped onto the game in MkIII, so I'm not hugely experienced in it. But given how many buffs/feats seem to affect only friendly Faction models, and with it seemingly most lists preferring to be in Theme rather than out of it, are there any warlocks who can run Minions effectively? I've seen a few lists using Wrong-Eye and Snapjaw, but are there any other warlock/Minion combinations which are somewhat viable outside of a fun casual match?

Lylyth1 makes good use of Brigands because of Parasite. Prey + the -3ARM buff makes those pigs pretty scary. I wouldn't consider it a super competitive option but you can probably pick up some wins with it at a local Steamroller.

Lylyth1 Parasite does not discriminate between faction.
Seraph's flare likewise debuffs enemies as opposed to buffing allies.
There's also Bethayne's Disintegrate, but her feat is reliant on friendly-faction warriors.
The Sorceress's Storm also causes auto damage to enemies hit.
Thags1 Fog of War works on minions.
Saeryn1/2 and Thags2 also have attack spells that lower DEF.
The main problem with using Minion/Mercs these days is the prevalence of theme forces, especially our own Oracles of Annihilation.

Gator Bokor and shamblers are about the cheapest bodies we can get. They do fuel the pot. Pot ladies can fuel the Bokor.
Gobber chef is the new best fury management when combo'd with hellmouth tentacles.
Wrong eye and snapjaw are still great. Dhallia and Skareth are a neat package too but i don't think we really need their tech. [I'm dumb]
Maximus is still a point and click berserker
Croak hunters might be the best option to set things on fire for Kallus 2
People are liking the Sacral Vault pre-CID and after.
I myself think Bog Trog trawlers + Hellmouth is pretty funny. Ambush in and drag something into Hellmouth range to be drug again. It's only a medium base but it can be a light jack.

Vayl2 likes minions. After her battle group she doesn't really care if you are faction or not. I run triple min brigands+UA with her. Shamblers+pot is not a bad idea.

I run Gobber Chefs in my Thagrosh 1 list to help manage fury.

Thanks for all the responses! A common theme seems to be basically, they work best with warlocks who aren't in theme. Given I do very much enjoy Vayl2, who enjoys Hellmouths out of theme, which are great with Swamp Gobber Chefs, I figure there may well be room to try out some piggies there.

If you are looking at pigs specifically and aren't super competitive minded. Farrow Slaughterhousers are pretty equivilant to swordsmen but with some added benefits. 2" reach but -1 speed equals out. Tough. Takedown. With the amount of shooting Legion can put on the table, pow 11 finisher is pretty much just weapon master.
But the meaningful selling point is powerful charge. If you really need accuracy over in-faction options (we lack accuracy spells like Carnivore or Death March) Mat 9 could make the difference.

Maybe this is what we need to take on Ghost Fleet.
