I've decided to set aside my Khador stuff until I actually finish painting and basing. Problem is I have a lot of models and not a ton of time to work on them. Since I want to be able to fight for the Motherland again sometime this year, I'm going to focus on one list at a time. So the question is "Which List First"?
I'm looking for a well rounded 75 point list to take on all comers. I ran an Irusk2 infantry brick almost exclusively in MK2 so I would like to mix it up a bit and run something a bit less attrition-ey.
My local Meta is fairly mixed and pretty casual with most people playing fun well rounded lists as opposed to anything that might be considered really over powered. So far I've had the hardest time vs. Cygnar: Maddox w/ Stormblades and Stormlances in Storm Division theme Trolls: Borka w/ Rok and Champs in Band of Heroes theme Circle: Any since they all have at least 2 units of Sentry Stones Thanks In Advance

That meta looks familiar... almost like I live there as well . Welcome good sir! As to suggestions? BG heavy tends to cut down on apitning time by cutting down on model count, especially if you include a colossal. Though, Maddox does love to eat colossals, so your milage may very.

I'm looking for a well rounded 75 point list to take on all comers In my opinion you're looking into Vladimir1 or Vladimir2. First of all that will be a big difference to Irusk2 playstyle for you. So while Vladimir1 moto is: "take anything I'll make it better" I propose you consider a fair mix of jacks and WG models in theme. The list builds itself if you take like 4 jacks and enough units to give them all advance move. With Vladimir2 you should go out of theme with a more close-combat-warrior-oriented approach: Conquest, WGRC, Uhlans, Eliminators are the mainstay of my list. But sometimes I want to change conquest for Behemoth + Devastator. Both these warcasters a well-rounded and reasonable both for competitive and fun play. So not giving you concrete lists but sharing my vision hope you can get some excitement in building it up yourself to your liking Cheers, Andrey

So I was looking at Vlad1 and getting him in theme but I wasn't feeling great about the play style or the number of models I'd have to buy/paint/base. I think I'm going to toss the "well rounded list" idea out the window and go for something big and smashy.
I already have custom bases for B1 (standing atop an pile of dead Trolls), Ruin (stepping over the body of Borka next to a fallen Kreil Stone), and Big B (crushing a Cygnar heavy under its feat).
What would people suggest for a list using all/some of those three models?

I think you can get Irusk 2 back on the table. Just give him iron fangs or man o wars, and a shooting unit, and a couple of jacks with support. Maybe this? conflictchamber.com/#b31b797w7p7Qgd7Y7W8t8q8a7XKhador Army - 75 / 75 points (Irusk 2) Supreme Kommandant Irusk [+27] - Behemoth [25] - Destroyer [14] Man-O-War Shocktroopers (max) [16] - Man-o-War Shocktrooper Officer [4] Winter Guard Rifle Corps (max) [13] - Winter Guard Rocketeer (3) [6] Kovnik Jozef Grigorovich [4] Man-O-War Kovnik [5] Greylord Ternion [7] Winter Guard Rifle Corps (min) [8]

Suggestion from a local: Paint your colossal kit. That'll cut down the total number of models in the army by a significant margin

Thanks for the reponses
Wedan, That list does look good but it also looks a lot like one of my MK2 list. I definitely will get Irusk2 back on the table but it will be a while with all the models I'll want to paint first.
Swampy, The colossal is definitly on my to-do-list but I'm actually kind of waiting on that for now so I can get better at painting.
How does this list look?
Butcher1
Behemoth Ruin Kodiak Kodiak Juggernaut Juggernaut
Battle Mechaniks (max) Battle Mechanik Officer War Dog

Ran this the other weekend for fun against my buddy who just started playing. He did not find the dmg output fun once I got to him.
Khador Army - 75 / 75 points

Butcher1 has one big problem, I think - no threat range extension (other than Ruin, who already has a big target on him), and Khador jacks have a low threat range. It's one reason Harkevich can be a better pure jack caster against many lists (except the very, very high ARM ones). Butcher1 is better as a mixed jack/warrior list caster, albeit with an emphasis on jacks.
I find Butcher1 needs with a reasonable amount of ranged damage output, to soften up the enemy before taking the alpha, or something in the list that has a higher threat range than the jacks. Out of theme, Uhlans are great - longer threat range, good targets for both Iron Flesh and Fury.
If you want an essentially pure jack list, I'd consider replacing one of the Juggernauts in the proposed list with a Destroyer (lost the Mechanik Officer for the points). Three Bombards a turn starts to put a dent into the enemy, and might be enough for a ranged assassination on feat turn.

I think the new Jaws of the Wolf theme sounds fun so I think I'll try this list as my first fully painted army: Kozlov -28 Behemoth 25 Destroyer* 14 Destroyer* 14 Juggernaut 12 Juggernaut 12 Marauder 10 Marauder 10 War Dog 3 Forge Seer* 0 Forge Seer* 0 Battle Mechaniks (min) 3 Battle Mechanik Officer 0 75
I might eventually swap out Kozlov and the marauders out for Butcher1 and Ruin once I feel more comfortable painting.
