I contributed to the Kickstarter for the Widower's Wood boardgame (a looooong time ago), and finally got it this week. So, in addition to being able to play it as intended, I now have a crapload of Gatorman figs- not legal for competitive play, but perfectly acceptable for my small gaming group. Thus I'm looking for suggestions on how to expand what I have into a viable Blindwater Congregation force.
I have a Blackhide Wrassler, 2 max Gatormen Posses, a max Bog Trog Ambushers, a max Swamp Shamblers, two Mist Speakers, and a couple Gatorman Bokors. Plus I have some other Minions stuff not from WW: a Bull Snapper (which I bought a while back just 'cuz I like the model), a Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew, a Trophy Hunter, and a Feral Geist.
I'm thinking that a Swamp Horror will be my next purchase (again, 'cuz I like the model). So, what Warlock(s) would work best with this jumble of stuff? And are there any other 'must-haves' to make it work?

A Swamp Horror comes with the KS Exclusive Set I believe... So no need to get another. I think they are the same.
Not the greatest player, but it's been said that Rask is a good all around and Barnabas is forgiving. You can check certain posts by Gaston on this Board for the best overview of the Gator warlocks.
The GM posses are bolstered by using the Blindwater Force in the No Quarter 71. Pretty much all Gators and units with the Aquatic feature. I PM'ed you more info about that.
Enjoy your Gators!!!

Thanks for the suggestions about Rask (he's my favorite Gatorman Warlock figure, so it's good to hear that he's also competitive) and Barnabas.

Away from Hordes, any one know if the Widower's Wood game is fun? Can it be played with only one player (no way my girls would want to play it).
As AdeptusB mentioned above, it's chockful of Gatormen...

I haven't played it yet, so I can't speak to your first question, but as to the second, it specifies at least two players (with each running two of the hero characters).

Thanks. Got the game today. The minis are awesome. I placed my Wrastler side to side with the one from the Kickstarter and they are the same size and no need to mess around with the file and green stuff. The plastic is much harder than the the plastic from Unleashed (and Undercity from what I heard). Maybe I'll get the girls involved too so it won't be a solo game. It's just that, well, I like the Gators more than the heroes and wish I could play as them lol.
