You don't know that. It's certainly a possibility, but it's also possible they got feedback on LGs which told them they didn't want to change the unit.
We don't have access to all the data. Only the stuff which gets written up on the forum

The basic Long Gunner is a very bad unit. Not many people played them because: 1. Boring 2. Not very strong 3. No theme except Kingmaker.

Long gunners suffer from being terribly fragile, and totally overshadowed by the TLG. PP didn't seem receptive to any suggestion for changing them.
Not that I want to complain about the CID cycle. We made out pretty darn well.
Not my loss, cuz I never bought long gunners, so I'll just keep on not buying them.

They were like the first unit i got when i started playing, them and stormguard. Sighhhhh they're just waiting for me to get a few more trenchers so i can swap out their shoulders and heads and create some home made tlg

Although my first units are Trencher Infantry and Stormblade Infantry, but my Long Gunner finally have their day because they will recover their DEF and buffed to have RAT 6 and survivability. Well, then how to get Trencher Long Gunner Officer? I was bought the used Long Gunner Infantry in MKII, when their UA is useless, so I didn't have their officer(and standard). Is PP store an option?

I still don't like Commandos. Granted, there's little that can be done with them as they already gave them scattergunners and a 6-10man squad size, but I'd of much rather them be an ambush unit. They are described pretty much as such in the fluff and it's a role we don't have anything to fill, but they would fit the bill well. The problem is having sprays, even shorter sprays coming in from the flanks would be devastating. In general their anti-infantry role is completely unnecessary in Cygnar. Swan knows we have plenty of ways to kill the infantry they can kill...

Yes, but it costs a fortune if you don't live in the US thanks to delivery.

www.warmahordesreleaseschedule.com/Seems that the Patrol Dog will be changed to a Weapon Attachment in the end... Sad, I would have liked a 2 points filler not tied to an unit.

Trencher force box? Is that going to be a regular thing? Will each major theme be followed up by a force box?

In the Facebook group, they were saying that this entry has just not been updated with the CID changes. It was a WA in the beginning of CID.

Haven't seen this posted yet, so I figure I will:
Trencher Force BoxPIP 31901 MSRP: $134.99Once
More unto the Breach! The trenchers of Cygnar are among the most tenacious soldiers ever to take the battlefields of the Iron Kingdoms. The first into the fight and the last to leave it, the soldiers of the Trencher Corps form the vanguard of Cygnar’s army, holding ground against all odds on behalf of their comrades in arms. Any enemy who tries to assault their fortified positions faces a force of tough-as-nails troopers ready to cut them down with rifles, bayonets, and even the blades of their shovels.Take command of these veteran soldiers with this box, which contains a full complement of trenchers ready to support your warcaster’s battlegroup. Dig in and hold the line!
Combine this box with the Cygnar battlegroup box to build a complete 35-point Trencher army.
This box contains:
• 8-Page Trencher Primer • Commander Anson Hitch character Solo • Patrol Dog Weapon Attachment • Trencher Cannon Crew unit (3) • 2 Trencher Infantry Rifle Grenadier Weapon Attachments • Trencher Infantry Officer & Sniper Command Attachment • Trencher Infantry Unit (10) • Trencher Master Gunner Solo
TRADE POINTS: As noted in the features, this box should be combined with the Cygnar Battlegroup Box (PIP 31121) for the best effect. This also pairs well with Colonel Markus ‘Siege’ Brisbane (PIP 31131) and Grenadiers (PIP) if players wish to expand and change their options past 50 points.
Taken from DiscountGamesInc's post on Facebook. So...not sure if I'm really interested in buying this box, since the majority of the value is in the Trencher Infantry unit that most Cygnar players will have. I don't really think there's use for a second unit... but I'd love to hear someone convince me otherwise?

Welp. I'm pretty irritated about this. You can buy the pieces individually for less money. Here's the retail price of each of them.
Trencher Cannon Crew 32.99 Trencher Infantry and 3 Weapon Attatchments 49.99 Trencher Infantry Officer and Sniper 12.99 Trencher Master Gunner 9.99 Commander Anson Hitch 12.99 Patrol Dog 8.99 Total: 127.94
There is absolutely no reason to buy this box.

I think you will often use Trencher Infantry units in Pairs, so if you only have 1 its not a bad buy. I already own 2 so I'm out unfortunately.
