About once every year or so I'll put in an order to Privateer Press Online Store to get parts for conversions, lost / broken part replacements, etc.
I usually save the order for when I have to place a replacement parts request when I get miscasts, that way I can tell them to combine the two into one shipment and save Privateer Press on shipping costs. Usually all of this need for replacement and purchased parts comes to a head at around the same time for some reason.
Now, I got a plastic Victor that I'm putting together, and I lost one of the side struts that go on either side of the groin piece. (Yes, I was a stupid kommander...) Thing is, you can't order the pewter ones from the old Conquest kit on the Online Store. What can I do?
So, along with a replacement Strakhov2 body (bad casting on the face and left shoulder) and alt. Pistol Wraith bottom (undercast) I asked for a replacement plastic strut for the Victor (fat chance, right?) or a pair of pewter struts from the old Conquest kit (more likely.) Worth a shot, right?
Privateer Press came through for me: the sent me a replacement plastic strut! I don't know if they cannibalized a plastic kit or what, but I am so happy! I better glue that strut on before I lose it also!
Thanks Privateer Press!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I also need to get back to work on my Bombshell Battle Mechanik Officer and my "classic" Malice (enhanced with extra souls from the Death Jack and Gaspy2) as well as other stuff. You know, like a Victor...

I have had similar experiences with them. I appreciate their customer service on missing parts. I'm glad it worked out, Blargaliscious!

Yep, they did similar for me, recently. I needed an old-school Tiberion plastic shield, and didn't want to buy another Multi-kit nor buy the new Tiberion. So when I was missing 10 bases from an entire unit, I requested it. Sure enough... Awesome people.

Yeah. Their part replacement has always been pretty solid.

Yeah, I recently picked up a Nyss Hunter Unit that had been sitting on my game store's shelves since MK1 and after finishing the painstaking task of putting them together discovered I was short one of the bows for their backs requested the part and had it within two days no questions asked. Great Customer Support.
